I usually go 10 weeks, if I can
Thank you I guess I may have to squeeze a few in there towards the end then
That was under 10/14 bloom lighting, too. I just read an article by RCClarke, saying 12/12 can double tricome production over 10/14… I’ve got one doing that at the moment… just to check it out
Heavy doubt on 2hrs making all the difference. I like 11/13 myself and can’t say I’ve noticed any difference at all compared to 12/12, other than a quicker finish.
Yeah, IDK either, but RCC does know some shit about weed. I just thought it might be worth trying.
I’ve never noticed a quicker finish at 10/14… might have to try 11/13, lol!
10on/14off will finish quicker than 11on/13off or 12/12. We drop the ‘on’ time to get sativa’s to finish quicker. Most pure sativa’s will take forever to flip and basically never finish at all if you leave them on 12/12. It’s less noticeable on other non-sativa cultivars but still a thing in most things that aren’t autos
I’ll keep that in mind. Thx
Nice Grow Beautiful Plants @Puffalo ,peace…
Thanks buddy
No pure sativas here And, going strictly by trich coloration, 10/14 for 10 weeks puts mine at about 5-10% amber, which makes me happy. I hope 12/12 doesn’t take too much longer, but if the trich heads are bigger, it could be worth it.
I used to run 12/12, but honestly saw no difference on grow time when I switched to 10/14.
I’m not sure if I’d wanna switch mid flower. I’m just gonna ride it out and see. At least I know to check around 9+
Me neither… the times are just guide lines anyway, lol!
Going into week 5 and I’ve noticed what looks like a N deficiency. I’m using roots organic terps teas (bloom)
What’s an efficient way to resolve this asap? They’re due for a watering later tonight.
Would a top layer of castings help, or maybe adding fish emulsion? Thanks!!
Moved to sick plant area…
Are they all showing that? This cut does go to a lighter green as it gets closer to the end. I sucked in mud, so I won’t help you make it worse, lol!
Hey, sorry. I missed this. Yeah. They’re all the same. And still pretty light and some faded leaves. They seem to be doing ok still. I posted another topic and got a few tips to help pull em through. I’m using a new soil and nutrients, so I think I cut their N off a little early. My buddy said his was lighter as well and asked if they were a finicky plant
They do look a little hungry, but still looking nice. How many days since you flipped? I’ve not found her to be finicky, but I’m in coco and salts, so adjustments work pretty fast. I recognize that frost, though
I’m going on week 6, so Ive been feeding, but I think it was too late. Ill still get something though.
From here, it looks like you’ll get plenty! I let her go for 10 weeks in my set up. She does her best to chunk up the last couple of weeks
