AC Infinity, Gorilla or SF?

You mean what I spent like 10$ on using 2x2’s cut to size?

LOVE Mars Hydro. I use their fixtures and heating mats. Never got a tent yet though so I can’t say from personal XP.

:ok:

Do the tent makers put on specials around the holidays? I’d rather wait if they give substantial savings. The mars tent about is a nice fit I’m just concerned as people say it’s a re-badged vivosun. I wish AC or GG offered a 3x6 or 3/8.

Well, after all the praise i gave AC infinity, walked in my room this morning when my lights kicked on and its looking like im starting to get some light leaks through the zippers. Pretty bummed about it

My AC zipper is the same. I think my Mars Hydro is a much better tent.

Yup, light leaks are an absolute deal killer for me. This 5x5 is only a few months old and ive been extremely gentle with opening and closing it so to say im bummed is an understatement.

I have an ACinfinity 4x4, If you clean the floor too much the silver reflective material wears off. The reflectiving coating is thinner than rice papper.

I have a mars hydro 5x5, it is solid. It has zipper flaps which cover the zippers to help with blocking leaks from any potential gaps. I wouldn’t worry too much about little pinholes, though, you can tape or paint over them and many people don’t incur any issues with the minor amounts of light that slip through – I know a few people with ultra-cheap tents that swear by them and consistently have great harvests, and also know people who paid big money for Gorilla top of the line tents who complain about a pinhole or a few because they expected the higher costing tents to have none :joy::raised_hands:

My vivosun tent definitely has the most pinholes of hydrofarm, mars hydro, spider farmer and Vivosun, and has had a 4" unsewn section halfway down one back corner that has been there since I originally put it together… “new” … which I just taped over to keep closed-- back when I bought it I didn’t want to make a return and have a second shipment delivered to my spot because I was paranoid, so I just kept it despite the rip  but it still works just as well as the other branded tents. :v:

Coolgrows is quality for the price too.

Would you mind linking me to the fine point pair, please? I see lots of options from them, just none with a coil of spring steel like yours. I really like that design!!

I didn’t remember what sure I ordered mine from. It was direct from Japan, whereas that’s from London, but you get the idea. Mine were like $100, but they still have really nice ones that are way cheaper

I got their 2x4 a month ago & it must be “new & improved”; As soon as I read your post I had to look at mine & indeed. they added a material layer/flap to mask the zippers. :man_shrugging:

So far so good :crossed_fingers: but I need to steal the wax back from @Foreigner. He’s already slick enough. :candle:
