I’m really after getting the most flavour I can out of varietals. Starting to think if I grow something and it doesn’t have a blatantly clear unique taste then I’ll go no further with it (unless the effect is extra special!)
I have a similar mindset. Smell that translates to taste is #1 what I’m seeking out of a keeper strain.
G99 is on deck to be flowered in my room. Super pumped to hear that. I have 4 different females ready to go into flower, all backed up by clones so I can hopefully save a keeper.
i cant really answer because basically the entirety of 2019 i only had 2 phenos of white fire and like 6 phenos of grapestomper, but those 2 strains were night and day difference taste-wise, and even some of the phenos of GS had noticeably different flavors… and then when i’d smoke someone elses weed it would usually be unique as well
maybe you are growing strains that are too similar
