My main veg room is filling up fast. Almost need to set a grow tent up for extra room but it’s still winter here and the shop is not heated. Well… I do have a woodstove in there but the exaust fans are strong enough to pull the smoke out of the woodstove… No Good.
Thankfully I have staggered the plants in age groups and weeding out the ones I don’t want as they mature and show sex.
The “batch C” group which is the 2nd seed pop that gave me 10 more of the 2017 shishkaberry, 3 more 90’s blues and 5 of the LUI x G13 are all hitting the age where they should start showing sex. The 90’s blues already showed 1 female and what looks like 2 males… so we are up to 4 males and 3 females of the 90’s blues in total.
The rest I’ll seperate and comment on a bit later but here is a garden shot from a day or so ago.
Next up are the females I have set aside from the Batch B seed pop which was the first 10 seeds of 2017 Shishkaberry. I have no plans for these yet… except to keep them healthy while I continue to do selections from the rest of those seeds. I have also kept 3 males so far and they are in the bottom left corner of the above picture. One is yellowing out as it fights PH swings… Shishkaberry does not like it’s roots restricted and that plant is a prime example of that. It’s a really nice male though so it stays and I will get it healthy eventually. These 3 males are the “late to show sex” group. I culled the early showing males as they didn’t stand out in any way.

I’ll get pics of all the other plants in veg another day but I took clones between the 5th and the 8th of OGKB2.0 (x11) , G13(x3), Horny Horse Cherry Red Shitfest (x4), Rude Dog (x1) and Grape Pie x 12 .
I didn’t have any grodans so i put them in sunshine 4 . They all seem very healthy today at day 12 for the Grape Pie which were the first ones to get cloned.
They seem happy and not dying off but the Grape Pie are drooping when I take the domes off for a breather. It takes as long as it takes I guess.

Starting to get crowed in there but the Batch C seed pop are all starting to show sex so the herd will be getting thinned some more. From batch C , 1 female/2males of the 90’s Blues, 2 females so far from the 2017 Shishkaberry and 3 out of the 5 Lui x G13 are females so far as well.
As soon as the Shishkaberry 3f2 seed increase project ends the grow area will get sanitized to kill any stray pollen and another batch of plants will take thier place for one more indoor flower run before I shut down and switch over to the greenhouse for the summer.
I’m going to save pollen from the two Shishkaberry 3f2 males in seperate vials just in case I need it down the line. I’m not collecting and saving pollen like @DougDawson just did in his epic Blue Kush co-op run there is just too much constant airflow in my room to make that feasable. I’ll be saving enough to freeze some and also keep some handy. @PineTarBastard if you want any pollen packs just let me know. These are your seeds/plants afterall.

wow it’s been awhile since I updated this thread.
My shop veg room is maxxed right out LOL
I’m prepping one of the other veg rooms now that winter is slowly starting to melt into spring.
That said… -10C here last night and I’m still ice fishing on 2 feet of solid ice on the local lakes.
Still lots of snow in the yard so I have to cut a path to the building with my other veg rooms.
It’s time though… I need the space big time LOL
Some plants are looking a bit rough, in rebellion from the small pots. Some of the bigger plants are getting axed as thier clones root so that will free up some space.

I’ve got lots more seed to pop between now and April 20th and then its all veg time till June 10th when everything selected goes outside to the greenhouse. Time is gonna fly here as now is when I start to get really busy in the rooms preparing for my outdoor breeding and bud making

things are moving right along in the garden … getting crowded but I’ll be culling some seedlings as I continue selections and I’ll be moving some plants to 12/12 in the next few days.
The other day I put down some more seeds… a dozen more Long Valley Royal and today I potted up 10 healthy sprouts of those… Put down 12 Biker Kush V1 that i took to F3… potted up 8 sprouts. Will be starting more. Last ones for this pop were the Mikado x Tropicanna Cookies F2 from @stanknugzz77 and all of those popped nice healthy sprouts and were potted up tonight.
Not much has changed in the main veg room so I got no pics today but things are progressing… lots of room for spectators and things are gonna get real interesting once everything is out under the sunshine in my “greenhouse”
I wanna move the Horny Horse Cherry Red Shitfest from @Pigeonman , the Rude Dog , the G13… and maybe something else… into the flower room but it needs a quick but thorough cleaning after I mist down the plants to kill any shishkaberry pollen floating around from the Shishkaberry 3 f2 seed increase that is at day 39 of 12/12.
So rolling right along… I’ll update with pics next time

Ramping up for the June 10 shift to the greenhouse and I am seriously running out of room .
Winter is just clinging on or I would fire up one of the other rooms in one of my outbuildings.
I’ll give it another week then I will get that room going.
For seedlings right now I am near overflowing but there is just enough space to squeeze in the Annual 4-20 Seed Pop !!

about half of them are in 1 gallons already as I staggered the seed pops .
I have more Biker V1F3 soaking right now as I want to see at least 20 healthy plants to pic some ladies from. The beans are quite predictable and quite inbred now so picking the stand outs should be fairly simple.
ended up with 4 males and 3 females of the 90’s blues. There are more seeds to pop but those will have to wait till fall/next winter. I killed 2 of the males as they didn’t have the nice fruity smell.
Hmmmm what else… still trying to reveg my super freak Humbolt Afghani from 20twenty mendicino. She has been in stalled out mode for months and has been alive since popping her seed a year ago LOL. But I think she is turning around perhaps… we’ll see.
What else is going on… LUI x G13 went 4 females to 1 male… seed increase is on the table. These are really nice stinky plants and I am excited to see what they bring to my stash.
I have a good group of plants from the 2017 Shishkaberry seed lot. I stopped popping them as I can already see what I am dealing with and will hold the remaining 17 seeds for later in the year. For now there is like 7 females and 5 males I have kept and will be evaluating those males as I go here.

I moved the G13 mum, Rude Dog and Horny Horse Cherry Red Shitfest into the flower room a week ao now. Those will be the last plants flowered indoors till next winter.

I want to take a minute to recogninze and remember OG member @DJSF and breeder Useful of Useful seeds. Sad to hear of the passing of these two and while I didn’t really know them, I’ve interacted with both in the recent past and it sucks to see such passionate and giving individuals taken to the higher plane. I was looking forward to seeing @DJSF grow some beans I had just recently sent his way. I hope someone in his inner circle finds them and grows them.
I have grown a couple offerings from Useful seeds and am heading off to the seed banks to add a few more before they are all gone… as is what always happens when a skilled breeder leaves this earthly plain.
Useful’s message thru his work and written on his seed labels is Spread the Love. His work will live on through us growers for years to come.
Condolences to those who are grieving

Scoutbreath, Fire OGKB f2, Slurricane S1, Gorilla Bubble Bx2, Fruity Pebbles F4 and Useful Seeds GG4S1
today I hit my mailbox and found my GLG order full of Bodhi seeds and a schwack of Bad Dawg freebies… oh yeah!!! And another box from a friend with some Slurricane flower and a bunch of seeds. One of my favorite strains of the past few years is Darlin’s Net (josey wales GG4 cut x DMT) made by Smokin Joe for the Ninefold Collective. I gifted a friend a pack a couple years ago and today that came full circle with a surprise baggie full of Darlin’s Net S1 beans. I was stunned LOL there’s a couple hundred of em in there and I had no idea he was even up to such shenanigans as making S1 beans with the Darlin’s,
When will I get time to grow all these??? Ya’all might see these in the free seeds and clones thread from time to time going forward hehehe

DMT is a SourBubble bx1 line.
I’m not sure who originally did the breeding and named it but that is what it is.

ahh ya no brother i did not start the DMT, it was originally from bog SOUR BUBBLE then grindhouse got a hold of it and did some work and that’s where i come in with these now. im still not 100% what happened along the way from bog to me, you see im not putting any numbers or letters on the strain just DMT. it is a sour bubble bc but after that things get a bit stinky.

Yeah DMT KUSH gets kinda confusing. Grindhouse brought bogs sour bubble to bx1 ix3 (not sure how that came about) and called it dmt kush.
The DMT that @JAWS used may be from earlier than the DMT kush used in Darlins Net and all of my other crosses, I really don’t know.
The male I had was given to me around 2014 and was sour bubble bx1 ix3 aka DMT KUSH.
I loved that son of a bitch lol.
Jaws gifted me a pack of his DMT and I figure they are worth a look to see if I can find a male comparable to the one I had. There could be a bonus of an outstanding female to add in rotation, who knows.

I’m saving those for when I can run 100+ plants indoors in the fall after light dep season is over.
I have some plans for that line that will be unique and want to pop some other stuff at the same time.
Chunky pigs beans… soaking the last 6 seeds of the original scoutbreath from his last drop ever at glg. I want to respect his work and not just be a knock off artist hehehe but I will be making a big batch of Biker V1F3 x Fire OGKB (aka burnin biscuits) and OGKB 2.0 x Biker V1F3(aka baked boyscout)
Darlin’s Net S1 …well technically it is an F2 S1 I think but I’ll have to check if they were made with F2’s from that original pack or if they were from a female from the original pack. I do know those guys aren’t breeders , they just do this stuff for thier own circle of friends. My plan for is that they will be enjoyed as personal smoke and best thing about it is I don’t need to keep clones I can just cycle thru those like candy hehehe

Obviously that is not gonna work with the number of plants in the room but one of my outbuildings will get fired up and I’ll split the garden up until the transfer to the greenhouse.
i’m pretty excited about this summer’s light dep line up and I’ll give a run down on the strains and plans and all that jazz over the coming weeks.

Reading through my list of srains I posted last… I missed Schromba and Pre 98 Bubba S1 LOL
So I am getting ready to shift things into high gear as far as getting the greenhouse ready.
My greenhouse has survived 6 seasons now and is a pretty simple frame up and cover in greenhouse plastic. Nothin fancy… she’s about as bare bones as she goes… BUT… we get some serious winter here and the snow pack this year was higher than “normal” according to some. Anyways I have to do some work on the right side lower section of barrier on that side. My property is fenced down the sides and across the middle but the back forest area can easily be accessed if some nosey person was back there so that side usually has a “security screen” up to 4ft high on that side. It’s a rough shod collection of plywood and back white pieces LOL… gonna remedy that with new black white poly the whole length.
anyhow… here’s the tour but first… don’t mind the garden security… she will let you in but she might not let you out hehehehe btw she is starting to growl in that pic because for some reason she doesn’t like her picture being taken LOL
and last pic is the light dep shed which will need to be rechecked for light proofing before the light depping begins but that’s some weeks away.
so that is what I am working with and if you know me from other forums , and past grows in my ghetto greenhouse and my backyard fun in the sun adventures , you will know that it’s gonna be a good show… barring any disasterous events like forest fires ect.
So that’s that… now let’s see… I’ve got more. Gotta roll a bat, pour a coffee and I’ll update the indoor as lots has happened in the past 48hrs.
