I’ve known about Dave having stage 2 esophageal cancer since the first of the year.
I wanted to hook up with him after the new year, I needed to go and run some errands in Anchorage and share some of my last harvest with him, but it was going to be a busy day of Chemo and testing for him so it didn’t happen.
I didn’t think it appropriate to talk about his condition.
Good news though is that he is positive and tells me his treatment seems to be working.

I am thinking about grabbing more black domina. I have run the ‘95 black domina last year. He stated the black domina ibx is like the original release. Also the so hum black domina is when nevil interchanged the afghan 1 for garlic bud. Dave stated that’s what bob hemphill prefers. Anyone else have any akbb black domina recommendations?

I grew out the So Hum Black Domina x Romulan and had some interesting high yielding old school looking plants that smelled of crushed lacewing skunk.
I never smoked original Black Domina or Romulan so have nothing to compare to.
Reminded me a bit like Critical + I grew, but more old school, if that makes sense, lol.
I would only recommend if someone was looking for something nostalgic or unique to possibly breed with.

If you scroll up (or search) I have a number of pics of his NL5/1 x Super Skunk. I chose it for nostalgic reasons - the first time I was ever around a cannabis grow was 1990 and their seeds were NL5 x Skunk #1. AKBB’s offering was ‘close enough’. His cross was a great smoke with an upbeat high!
