AK bean brains catalog

I remember it being a dead ringer for that phk taste! Musky vinyl citrus!

Gorgeous plant! Canā€™t wait to hear final smoke report on this one!

Iā€™m a bit jealous, I started some of the AKBB SoHum Domina earlier this yearā€¦ but had some problems early on, and none survived.
Still have more beans though, and gonna try again this winter

@Radicle_Reefer That looks so much like a strain I made and has the same smell and taste based on your description , it always amazes me how the same profiles pop up in different lines

Iā€™m curious what the lineage is of the variety you made?

Itā€™s an old Columbia /afghani from NorCal crossed to a male from Cali connections original sfv og release . The sfv og used an old afghan line to make the regulars so old afghan genetics on both sides of the tree.
I have a thread on here called grape rebellion that has some good pictures.

I went 0/14 planting Williams Wonder F4 seeds. I did that in two groups of 7, one week apart, with no success. The next seeds I planted (JOTI God Bud 2.0) came up just fine so Iā€™m convinced it was the WWf4 seeds and not my methods (soaked overnight in RO water before planting into Solo cups of ProMix) or environment. Just putting the word out there if anyone else has this strain in their stashā€¦

Itā€™s disappointing because my buddy used to grow it, and I was psyched to resurrect one of his all time favorites. His version stayed short with minimal branching and yielded thick indica buds. I still love AKBB and am excited to go through some of the other strains from Dave in my collection.

Vintage Blueberry pic from yesterday, harvested this morning. First time growing AKBB gear. Long story but it was kept in small pots until early August - dealt with stress well, easy to grow. Itā€™s a bean pole but is one of the tallest/larger of the ~15 or so other varieties I grew this year. I also had two vigorous males that I didnā€™t keep, one green stemmed and one purple. This one definitely has berry smells, but I wouldnā€™t call it ā€˜blueberryā€™. Itā€™s astringent, hash-y berry. Smells are muted, I really had to get my nose in there, but itā€™s nice. Will post a smoke report in a month or two. Skunk Qabbage is next on my list to grow.

I love that tall column! I picked up the Fast Vintage Blueberry, which claims 56 days to complete flower. Should be a fun one to run. I also have his Blueberry Cream [Knik Goose Bay Blueberry x Starfighter x Vintage Blueberry]

I have some of his TKNL5Haze crosses, some NL offerings, Durban Thai High Flyer F4, Romulan Bx, Romulan x Grape Pie, and other odds and ends. No school like the old school!

Good to know @BarefootAndBlazed. Iā€™m sitting on a pack of the Williams Wonder F4 myself. Oldschool fire is my desire! Sad to hear you didnā€™t get any to root up.

I heard the Vintage Blueberry could have auto / semi-auto tendencies if rootbound for too long, but that definitely wasnā€™t the case with the three I grew. Guessing the Fast version selected for those phenos. I was kinda surprised this one went so long, you can see some white pistils in those pics.

Bummer about your Williams Wonders. Have you reached out to Dave? Iā€™m sure heā€™ll replace them, if not the WW then at least with something else that will grow

Let Dave know. He is usually willing to replace bad packs.

I suppose I should. I have more seeds than I can grow in my lifetime so Iā€™m not super motivated to obtain more. I have a couple of Williams Wonder crosses I can grow as well (like Bodhiā€™s Temple V2 which is Super Silver Haze x WW). It would be good to let him know in case heā€™s seen others with the same issueā€¦

2 weeks later on this Black Domina IBX. The first plant is dried, trimmed and curing (no smoke yet). This one definitely looked different in its bud and leaf structure. Itā€™s later finish time has me interested in what the smoke will be like between the two. Iā€™ll chop this one in less than a week, most likely.

Been lurking this thread since Iā€™m sitting on some AKBB gear. Finally got to popping some.

BOEL Oaxacan/Dwarf Oaxacan 2 days old.

Sorry for the pic. My phoneā€™s zoom functionality is toast.

First smoke on the Black Domina IBX last night after 14 day hang and a few weeks in the jar. Smells are returning to the jars, deep ā€˜generalā€™ cannabis. Sticky fingers after loading the bowl. Strong pepper notes on the exhale through the bong. Smooth smoke. Deeply relaxing, wipe your mind clear, in the moment calm. Red eyes and munchies. Great for end of day aches and stress relief, easy easy transition to sleep. Really excited for how thisā€™ll continue to cure.

Also shucked my seeded lowers yesterday and will have plenty to share (in a few weeks)of some interesting crosses. Branch pollinations include:

NL1 (AKBB)
Black Domina x TKNL5Haze (AKBB)
Black Domina IBX (AKBB)
Crazy Bitch (a cross from Copa genetics that is half Black Domina)
Old Soul (Bodhi)
DLA5.3 (Bodhi)
Baba Kush (Bodhi)
Staff of Life (Bodhi)
Amnesia Hashplant (Oregon Green Seed)

Cheers yaā€™ll :beers:
