Due to ignorance on the topic I had to google Dogmen, maan if you are seriously using an animal you claim to love to fight just to boost your ‘little man’ ego you belong in jail. Not only is it illegal but morally it’s about as low as you can go and you don’t deserve to be a pet owner. Jump in the ring yourself if you are full off pent up aggression smh

Majority of us just posting pics and discussing our pets !!! Know it all, Internet , fact checking warriors , turned it into a discussion that shouldn’t have been, it’s a happy place to share the love of your pets. Specific to APBT breed , it’s very irritating how people will jump in because they don’t like or understand the breed and try and pick fights with those of us that do. I don’t agree with dog fighting and never have, The only time my dogs will show aggression …. is for the poor soul that tries to break in my house or harm my family!!! my dogs are family!!!

Kind of sad that even now that its being more proven than ever there is still people with this opinion…I own 2 mixed pitbulls, and let me tell you something, this type of breeds attract a lot of assholes just because of the looks and the ferocity of it, then it happens the same story, they dont know how to raise a fucking dog and then they end up blaming the dog. Isnt anyone looking at the owners of those mauling dogs? Because there are plenty of pitbulls everywhere and its still very unlikely that you get killed by one. There are a lot of factors involving a dog attack, the easiest scape is to blame the dog. I think there are just some people who shouldnt have dogs. And those are the responsible for the majority if not all the cases.
In my experience(I’ve had several dogs in my life, big and small, and always been involved in the dog world) pitbulls are one of the most loyal and loving breed, they LOVE kids, and when given love they will be more loyal than anyone in this world. But also I have to agree they are powerful dogs, but still, they dont hold the evil small dogs do usually. I think too, people forget the fact that dogs are free beings too, and you as his owner are the one who has to understand the dog. If you fail at that, aint no way the dog will be well trained, less even be sane. There is also a big plus on this, pitbulls are really smart, so you wont make them a slave, but this also eases the training a bit.
People trying to demonize pitbull breeds, meanwhile anyone I know who had one and gave him love and respect, says its one of the bests dogs…
And yeah, fuck dog fighting

The animal shelter where I lived in California always had a lot of pit’s & mixes & Chihuahuas… a reflection on who lives there. 
Apparently Chihuahuas & Pitbulls tend to have litters of 12 puppies making the overpopulation worse.
So add that to your database of expertise, Vernal.

This was NEVER a thread about FIGHTING our DOGS!
It is about raising, loving and training this maligned and misunderstood breed for trials–like you see on television-- they have specific courses to go through. Pulling, jumping etc… just like ANY other breed that goes through agility courses.
ANYONE that fights their dogs should have them taken away and be jailed. Period.

Goon goon is a beautiful dog… I had alot of dogs related to him thru my dog Mike I love that family of dogs … I also was the breeder and owner of the Miss blondie that produced the famous litter with Titere . Cooper Diego Kika Hooch.

This was my girl “Hippy.” I got to keep her till she was 16. Her death ripped my heart out, ate it, and shit it back in my chest.she was the last of the pits here. Now I take whatever walks up, or needs a helping hand.

Sometimes a dog comes along that is just above and beyond what you’d ever expect. This girls name was Juicy and in my 25 odd years breeding and keeping these dogs was probably the best dog I’ve ever had. Unfortunately lost her to a cobra about 10 years ago and just happened to find these old pics of her this afternoon.
I miss her
