This is an outdoor variety I’ve started that can be grown anywhere in the US, pathogen free. I’m still testing and we will see how she responds to high humidity, cold nights, and day and night rain this spring and upcoming fall season. I incorporated an equatorial sativa landrace hybrid to give these guys bulletproof resistance. I’ll be working these into autos and a faster flowering photoperiod.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope these keep your interest. The first one I finished indoors was special. I lost the clone and hope I find the pheno in these.
A weather related update, 37°f last night and again tonight but no frost. They didn’t seem to miss a beat. I fed some biomin iron @8ml/gallon today to try and get their green up
These have all shown sex except one. It’s the automatic mom giving them the semi automatic genetics. This has been typical for me crossing with autos. What’s different with this cross is the delayed flower. Yes they’ve begun to flower, but they have only produced the two initial pistils. There’s been no progression past that and they are continuing to veg.
I’ve got two early pheno, the #2 fem and #5 male. This is out of 10. #3,#4,#6 all seem to be the longest flower. #7 and #1 are a little slower than #5 and #2. #7 and #1 inherited powdery mildew susceptibility from the OG mother. It will take another generation to bullet proof these genetics.
These are all the ladies from the project this year. There’s 3 F2’S that had the super purple Marathon OG auto mom. The ones labeled AR-15 are all F1’s with the Gammathon(Marathon OG auto X Bruce Banner #3). The smaller plants were a long the treeline. It’s at the edge of my garden and these were shaded most of the day. They’re don’t have a great looking canopy. The combo was lack of direct sunlight, the branches reaching for that sunlight, and the buds getting heavy with rain and tipping the pots over. We’ve had a few storms and the strong winds and rain bowed and tipped these girls over. Once they tipped they never recovered their straight lines. You can see the contrast between the ones that got plenty of light or didn’t tip and the ones that did. There’s some grower error on my part. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be there for most of the grow(working off) and my wife struggled to manage everything. I want everyone viewing to understand these genetics aren’t weak stemmed or unable to produce, as you can see from the plants that were in the right place and were able to stay upright.
