I’m glad you agree. I’d love a 3d printed reusable solution, but these are even reusable. As long as they stand up to the rollers.
Where are you at @JAYY_2the_R-O_WHAh ?

Hey @Bobgrows . May I suggest you put a piece of packing tape over each end of the envelope. Just to help prevent the rollers from pushing through that thin envelope paper. I’ve noticed that might be an issue.
I read that in one of your posts. Thank you!
I would really like to get this clone to Canada for them to pass around and enjoy!
I kinda don’t like that I just saw this. I will be sending cuts like nothing very soon
So simple yet ez. I wonder if they will survive 1 week in a letter…
Hey @Bobgrows and @Rhino_buddy would you both be willing to trade a cut or 2 of your beautiful moms for a pack of seeds your choice? Pm me your if it’s something that interests you both.Thank you for all that you do in OG and off. ♂
In coming PM. @OnePassionateGrower
do u have to declare the dvd case method ?
they survived 14 days to pigeonman so they will.
The one that survived rooted in 14 days, but roots are now popping out of the bottom of the soil in the after day 24.
My house is also cold, and I’m battling fungus gnats which are pissing off some of the clones.
I grabbed envelopes meant for cheques so you can’t see them + they seemed beefier.
@Rhino_buddy I’m working on a 3D print to put into the envelopes . I don’t have chop sticks. Lol
So my question,
What size envelope is best used?
I will send you one of whatever I come up with. I have a few ideas
That’s my whole goal. That and cheap and easy.
Feel free to send a cut my way too @Bobgrows
I’ve been thinking about getting some of those but I have way too many envelopes in the stash to be buying more.
Awesome. I’ve been excited to see someone try a 3d version. I’ve heard talk from a couple folks. As for envelope size. I’ve been doing the long ones. #10 in your image. I have sent some in smaller envelopes with single cuts, with success. I just have a bunch of the larger ones to spare.
I think your design is good and looks structural. Need to make sure the overall thickness including the envelope is <= 1/4 inch thick. My only worry with the plastic is the rollers will sheer through the envelope edges where it’s angled sharply. Maybe you could slightly taper the edges so the shed the roller pressure better? Just my logic brain thoughts. Also, I have little experience with 3d printing, but the plastic is flexible enough to not break? I probably could just Google this…
That was the plan to send you a 90’s Kush as well.
We will see how it goes…
Thank you @Rhino_buddy for your observations.
Anytime. Hope it makes sense.
Also, I think, because we’re making these to fly through the rollers, and get there ASAP, non machinable stamps probably will delay them longer. So I suggest send them as basic as possible.
And if the 3d printed holder ends up making it weigh over an oz, add that extra stamp.
Sorry I missed this earlier, but yes. Well, i’ve had to the all of the 2 times Ive shipped them to the North.
@Rhino_buddy
Im in RI, USA
the cardboard/bamboo combo is pretty strong for its weight, nice and flexible.
my 3d prints are usually brittle, and dont like to flex very much (ive only used PLA plastic which is not very structural) so the intended repeat-use might break them up going through the rollers…
Just a theory of course! innovation is the drive for any invention.
im sure somone in here can print ABS or carbonfibre nylon (oooh-lala!)
THE “SNIP-SHIPPER”
LOL
@Bobgrows
what plastic you use in your rig, Bob?
Love that!
Sounds more resilient.
So what kind of printer should I get?
Wait @Bobgrows !!! Does the back of the envelope say “90s Kush” on it? Just FYI I’m in Kansas.
And let’s try this shipper!
What’s the total thickness of that beauty?
And the ender?
