A few new things brewing on the horizon… The Earthbox Fellowship is picking up new members along the way as other warriors are put to rest. These are 2 20x24 city pickers (20x24) in what was my 2x4 no till beds tent. Don’t mind the orientation, they were just tossed in.
On the right we have another clone of the “Geezus” and on the left we have White truffles x pancakes from @AzSeaindooin420 and in front of that is a MAC#1 Caps cut I was sent (different than the MAC#1 I had before)
Beautiful plants!! I love my Earthbox and see SIPS as my immediate future. I recently picked up a City Picker and wanted to know how they compare in your experience. Thanks. Peace
Honestly these are the first plants I personally will be growing in the city pickers. The first one I had bought that was sitting here, @Pluckyevil and her damn fairy army stole it for their garden so I never even got to use it!
2x4 tent after 7 days of recovery in their new home.
That Geezus is sure marking her territory. White Truffle x Pancakes is recovering and getting happy as well but the MAC#1 Cap cut is still being slow and unhappy.
The 2 remaining Applez N Bananaz x Zlushiez are interesting to say the least.
Here is the pheno I don’t really care much about, pretty normal structure and trichome production.
I’ve used both and preferred the larger soil volume of the city picker overall, but I prefer EB’s larger water reservoir. Desert island if I had to chose one, I’d go City picker. However , I’d be curious what your conclusions are after using both.
Harvested the tester tent a few days ago. I knew that early finishing purple plant had been done for 2 weeks+ and would be risky keeping around till the others finished. Well that juicy plant got some mold in 2 buds sadly…
Even with all the neglect, they have still been trucking along. I really need to clear out the 4x4 and fire it up so I can give at least one of them a better home. Defoliation and topdressing has been needed for weeks…
That is all…
The garden took a pretty big hit. Most of the seedlings and clones died and the plants in the EB’s and SIP’s declined in health with lack of food and neglecting proper water fills.
I ended up moving the Geezus into the 3x4 and threw the City Picker SIP with the White Truffles x Pancakes and MAC#1 Cap cut into the 4x4 along with the 2 EB’s after I killed off 2 plant from each because they were about half the size of the others. So Grape Runtz Candy #1 and Lavabreath went into the 4x4 to join the rest.
I tossed a trellis in each tent as I tried to get back in my normal methods and routines in the garden.
At some point right after this, I was in a small mental rut and had not given the Geezus any water for way too long. I came in to find her limp. She came back but was upset and a little crispy.
I ended up buying some 3" square netting (wanted this for a while) and putting a 2nd trellis net in there eventually to help steer some of the branches a bit more. I have known for a while that this 3" trellis netting would be WAY better for me.
That Lavabreath has been a pain in my ass. Growing into the light and was popping some balls on the lowers. I cleaned everything up a ton and continue to, but I have not seen anymore and I half crawl in under the canopy to examine everything daily.
Yo dude I’m sorry to hear of your troubles. If you want any good medicine seeds to look through for more CBD dominant phenos just let me know, happy to send em your way
I appreciate the offer bud I do still have all the GM f3’s you sent me before, I just have not got to popping any of them. Space limitations have kept me from popping those, but I should be transitioning into a different grow setup this year so I hopefully I will be able to pop most of them and get to hunting through them
Even when the soils are not ramped up as much as the clips, it is too lively to plant seedlings into anymore sadly. 12-15 seedlings recently got ate up or snuffed out, soooo I will have to mix a little dormant soil into a different type of blend for popping seeds.
Albany Headband decided to join the adventure @shag . She made it through quite a few setbacks, but here she is! She had been hacked back a few times to slow her down and keep her from climbing, but it is time to let her take over this tent I think.
