I am an Overgrow member from about 2003 until the time it closed down…shocked to see the site back up again and looking forward to the old camaraderie. What is this user title you are referring to?

Found this while browsing the Introduce yourself @OG

I remember being a member here (Under a different handle) in what would have been my early adult years (19-21ish) and was dumbfounded when the site disappeared. I wasn’t much of a poster back then, but I read everything I could get my eyes on. It was here that lead me to my first grow ever (failed I might add due to some legal repercussions) A little Ikea cab with a 70w HPS lol. Man I thought I knew it all back then. Armed with adolescence I thought it’d be a good idea to grow in a house I was renting.

Glad this place is back. I’m older, more mature, and have a hell of a-lot more patience than I did back then.

Welcome back to OG @Jellypowered

Ahh… those teenage experiments with 70W  That reminds me I also had some when moving in because my greenhouse flowers were stolen  … I was given some lamps for free from guys who manage street lamps :bulb:
You’re right with age we’ve got some new skills and patience is one of them!

Wow its been soo many years since ive been with overgrow. They had the biggest plants, everything was organic and simple. Lol people growing with any light source they had. I mean lol tin foil. White glossy paint in the basement. People using homemade 5 gal buckets with drilled holes with fish tank pumps for hydrophonics. The great journal of cultivation in valleys of the high mountainsides etc etc etc. Its great too see how it all evolved into greatness and major steps toward legalization. I myself learned allot with team overgrow. You had the most chill relaxed people that will go out of their way to help. Not just for profit but experience and reputation!! Its good too see this site back. Happy growing!!

Hi.
I was irish back then… I guess i still am, lol
Missed a lot of these names. Got to keep up with quite a few through @ncga  not doing much online forums these days but was feeling a bit sentimental about old buds. Buds that have passed. Well, buds in general miss you all and that wonderful family feel I had from OG and CW. And others.

I am an original member! Only posted once and told everyone I thought it was risky posting pics of their grows. I was super paranoid back then, but never got busted so I guess it paid off. I’m 100% legal and licensed now so any feds watching or listening can F@#K OFF!

welcome back @Beancracker would love to see some pics of your 300 plant facility, and your personal one too of course!

Well I’ve been growing for 25 years in 3 different illegal states. Jumping from state to state when I thought things may be getting hot. Finally made the decision to enter the cannabis industry legally 2 years ago and moved from Georgia to Washington state. I had to pack a uhaul trailer with over 160 plants in many stages of life and haul them across country as I have been breeding and holding genetics for many years and refused to loose them. I am now the owner and operator of a tier 2 i502 cannabis garden. I maintain a 10,000 sq foot canopy, 350 plants, by myself. Plus a 60 plant count medical co-op garden at my house. Lots of work but it’s definitely true that if you do what you love for a living, you will never work a day in you’re life.
