@ one point in time years ago here in CO ('92) I bought 6 clones of what I was told was the Basic 5 clone via a hook through a friend of a friend of a friend
Infested with mites with no clue how to clone them/etc…it was a learning experience to say the least. However, I met another grower by chance at a party one night and he gave me valuable info on cloning and from there I was off.
This stuff was incredible. The first time I smoked it it sent my head into overdrive. It hit you instantly but it also creeped up on ya. I little went a long way for most folks. I had many people accuse me of “putting something on it”.
Terp-wise it had a skunky hint to it and a hashy/woody/buttery/sweet smell that would permeate the room if you cracked the film container. (LOL…) Very complex. Tasted like it smelled. I was very early on in my grow career and was running a SOG with it in a crawlspace grow. 12 x 12 room. 2 K HID on a light rail. 100 plants per cycle. I never got huge yields from it so I ran as many as I could get to root. We trimmed EVERY morsel of it because once I let it out I could never truly keep up with the demand for it. I ran the cut from '92-2005 or so and stupidly moved on to other things. Regrets. Regrets. Regrets.
I’d love to have something/anything that good again. It’s what I’ve rated everything on since then and everything else has come up short. I have a bud pic somewhere I’m going to try to locate. It was a scary thing to have that roll developed @ the time.
