Back to Seeds

Gotta love all of the guessing and throwing shit at the wall that goes on here. No way intersex popping up has anything to do with internal phytohormone levels from stressors or changes in growth regulator levels or that certain lines are super finicky and if you don’t dial them in they will herm at the drop of a hat from roots staying too wet, roots staying too dry, too much light, overfed, underfed, defoliated, and on and on. The fact that all seed plants are different and can have different things going on under the soil and in their makeup seems to escape many too. Doesn’t matter “that all of the other plants are fine,” you’re running a bunch of completely different plants with different needs. Some will deal with it better than others, but certainly doesn’t make those plants superior smoke. But hey, keep growing out seed lines from sensitive plants and assuming you know it all, because you’ve been growing for five years or something in a couple little tents. You’ve never seen numbers to really know anything about these plants. You have strictly anecdotal evidence from tiny sample sizes. Grow those Purple Punch crosses if you can’t figure out how to not herm plants out. Also, don’t run seed plants. Stop trying to be a breeder or preservationist, find a few good mothers, grow out good flower, and share the cuts for free. It’s pretty simple, but you won’t make any money or get your ego stroked. Also, I find it hilarious how damn sure and confident people are in totally wrong statements. Then they go change their post to cover up the fact they have no clue what they’re talking about and just regurgitate stuff from podcasts, other forums, articles, peer reviewed journals, and so on. Lots of parrots out there. Hahaha

Grandmas hands is one of my favorite bill withers songs.

Amazing song. Haunting sound to his voice. Super talented vocalist. Pissed me off in high school when kids thought of DMX when they heard “Ain’t No Sunshine.” Haha

Damn, did I miss a good argument?

This bugs me too. I’m no expert, but I am capable of reason and logic. If I have 4 plants that are exhibiting the same issues, it seems pretty much like common sense that I have something wrong with my environment, soil, whatever. If only one is having issues, to me, it’s a sensitive pheno. It happens. I recently grew two Durbans in my room. Half way through flower, one of them went full blown herm. Not a pollen sack here or there, full blown. I yanked it and debated pulling the other, but I let it go and never saw a pollen sack or banana on the one that finished. This should be a pretty simple concept given the fact that the buzz and potency can vary so much from plant to plant. It just stands to reason that any other characteristic could as well.

DMX songwriter extraordinaire.

I can’t name any of his songs, but I seem to remember a lot of “shorty’s” and forty’s" in his lyrics.

He reminded me of George, the white rapper on Scary Movie:

Felt so smart getting a new build then quickly realized the homes built before Covid were the good ones. I have the same problem, but at least it’s only hot here for 2 months.

DMX does not play that shit.

I work in property insurance and unfortunately they’ve been building shitty houses since they started. Haha The thing with this particular new build is that the bones and structure of the house are great, but everything else I need to put in myself or upgrade. The AC is actually a good AC that I just put a heavy duty filter in thinking that would clean my air better like a dumbass. Haha

Those are the packs I have my eyes on, but anyone know of a good haze hybrid in seed form that can be found in a pack? Also, any of those daytime get shit done strains like the old Green Crack or stuff like that? Then, is there any type of FLO that just slightly powered up the high? Any help and info is greatly appreciated! I’ll throw out that a CBD or whatever strain that helps arthritis or inflammation for my mom and the older folks would be awesome too.

bring your flashlight & work clothes if you ever visit rural Hawai’i :call_me_hand:

when I moved to HI from CA with building trades knowledge it was like landing in the stone age. well, maybe 1950s  but damn. this county is just implementing roof sheathing requirements & the plandemic prices made that unlikely so they put a hold on that. :man_facepalming: :palm_tree:

insurance in the lava zones is hard to get but I hear Lloyd’s of London & the state if they won’t.

I miss Green Crack & Green Ribbon. I hear there’s Green Ribbon S1 available…also hear they’re the same.

Green Ribbon was a nice one too! Who’s doing S1’s of it? Hawaii is definitely a different place. I loved it while I was there, but wouldn’t want to live there. Can’t imagine what prices are like out there these days.

Hmm.

I remember Green Crack & then later Green Ribbon from a Sacramento dispensary. Green Crack I’ve heard was “Mango” down in SoCal in the 90s ?? and Green Ribbon as I met it was clone only from the Bay Area, Green Crack +Trainwreck + Afgoo. It was the right meds for me so I asked the dispensary about a clone & the guy says “fuck you-- I’ll give you a clone for 50000$” & I was shocked, had no idea :man_shrugging: …dude didn’t need to be a prick. :smirk:

But here’s seedfinder:

sayin Exotix is doing a close enough thing

I found the only “affordable”(to me) housing on the Big Island in the entire state, & they aren’t sandy beaches; one’s barren jagged lava rock, the other is rainforest (look at Ocean View & Pahoa with goooogle street view):world_map:

Can get bare land as cheap as 6000us/acre but that’s at 5000’ & pretty unpleasant. High lava risk areas get it down pretty cheap too. :volcano: But you can get a house for 300k w/an acre or 3. Now the nice areas are pricier than the SF/SanJose areas…I want to say median is like 1.2mil for Oahu/Honolulu.

That’s where I was thinking to look too. I’ll look through his offerings. Thanks!

Looks like I have the environment figured out finally. Was getting too cold during lights off and two or three didn’t care for it. They’re all fine though. Want to give them a foliar, but can’t find my Dr Bronner’s. Might see what all is in my dish soap. I have some Seventh Generation Lavender Flower & Mint and some Mrs Meyers Honeysuckle. I’m guessing a tiny drop of either isn’t going to do any harm. We’ll find out later tonight.
