Anyone happen to know a store that would have lids for five gallon jugs? Going to start filling jugs at the ro kiosk, because it’s easier than what I have to do to use tap, but have no clue where I put the lids. I have three normal top bottles and two screw top bottles. Walmart has the screw top lids, but not the other type. Just curious if I can go grab some today or if I just have to order some. Thanks for any help!
Are you talking about these:
If you have a water n ice store they should have them
Yeah, I couldn’t find any in the stores, so I ordered some. Also, found out the ro kiosks out here aren’t the same $1 for 5-gallon types. Haha
Ahhhh, I almost stopped in one too, but I just drove by to see if they had refill station. Haha Seemed to be just ice, but they should have water too.
Been dealing with stuff the last few days, so I got myself some OJ and a bottle of Belvedere. I get a bottle every 2-3 years and it just sits in my freezer. Never drink except around the holidays I like amaretto, Kahlua Especial, a splash of cream, and two ice cubes. I’ll throw an orange twist in sometimes. About to make some turkey burgers and then have a drink and some hash. Cheers!
Turkey Burgers and hash.
Now that’s a combination you don’t hear every day
Got stuck watching a train go by yesterday and thought it looked interesting. Never ridden an Amtrak or train besides public transit in cities. First, the thing was hauling ass compared to the trains that went by where I grew up. Then, it was double decker passenger cars that looked nice and a bunch of automobile cars. Found out there’s a stop not far from me where I can hop on a train with my car for $30something and cruise up to Lorton, VA. Pretty sweet to have that option. Also, for only $100-$200 I can go round trip from a stop super close to me to NYC. Cost of gas and air travel these days, I’m pretty stoked. I’m going to take it to Los Angeles sometime next year. Fun stuff.
Plants are looking good. Need to not get lazy with the feeds anymore. Environment isn’t the best, but I’ll change some stuff before next flower run starts and eventually get a mini split. Hopefully by the time that next flower run starts, 9ish weeks, temps won’t be as insane and my central unit will be able to keep things cooler.
Just checked and the tap is now 470 ppm. The heat I guess. Definitely need to grab a ro setup for the house. Jeez.
My mom and dad just did that train ride that brings their car with them earlier this year. I had never heard of such a thing before that.
Told my mom about it and she was like “Oh yeah, I’ve done that before.” Of course, she never told me about it or brought me, but both of my parents are selfish children. Haha
Lol. Were we separated at birth?
@NDNCHILD @Indicana_Jones If I want to try running the exhaust up through the ceiling in the room should I put a duct connector or something in the hole I cut in the ceiling and then seal it up with some foam or something?
Yeah sure. I’m not super familiar with HVAC or other ducting work, but I know they make a specific type of connection that slides inside flex duct and then it has tabs on the other end that fold over and basically sandwich the connector (around drywall) in your application. I have no idea how many sizes they make it in. I’ve only ever seen it in large sizes.
What size ducting are you running?
One 8” and one 6” I’d like to run up there.
Cool. I got an HVAC homie I can hit up tomorrow. He’ll be able to tell me what I’m looking for and what it is called as opposed to me finger fuckin my way around the internet looking for the thing
Unless @NDNCHILD is an HVAC guy.
