IIRCC fulvic/humic can be obtained from compost and or EWC by passive passing water through it like water from a can with the material in a strainer and collecting it
How much would I need to collect for a 3 gallon pot?
Oh I’d say a cup or so of material to make the concentrate And then dilute out to a gallon or so and water away it should look like a light ice-t drink
OK I’ll do that. Thanks man!
Thats what I was going to suggest.
I have been playing around with the dilution ratio of the LABS since I made a ridiculous amount of it, and I tested one plant by watering it with straight LABS and molasses mixed, and the plant I tried it on seemed to love it, with no ill effects, so the 2 Tbsp per gallon works, but so does 100% LABS/molasses
Nice experiment! Trying to get rid of that 80 gallon drum ya got?
I had issues with my pump being too small for a 5 gallon bucket. I don’t have a whole lot of plants vegging in the 2x4, so I’m gonna see if the pump is big enough for a coffee can. I’m trying it out on some ewc and kelp tea. I’ll report back on how it goes after 36 hours or so.
I think we’re looking at face plant #3.
This is what mine looked like yesterday,
and today:
Now maybe I don’t understand it right, but isn’t WCA supposed to bubble, and aren’t the shells are supposed to rise and fall for a week? Mine is dead in a few hours, every time I’ve tried it’s been the same result.
I have 3 more ounces of shells. I’m gonna strain the old shells and shit out of, and dump the rest in there. I imagine it’ll quit bubbling in a couple of hours also. Do you think that’ll release enough calcium to make it usable?
Thanks.
It’s fine, let it go the week and strain out what’s left. The acid/base reaction slows down after a few hours. Each time you see a bubble (CO2) that is some of the acid being neutralized by the calcium carbonate in the egg shell.
I have mine marked to sit for 3 weeks. Are you sure a week is enough?
Give it some litfa buddy
That’s just what I read man. When it stops bubbling, and there’s no more movement of the shells, that’s supposed to mean the vinegar is saturated, and all the acid has been depleted. The recipe I read said that should happen in 5-7 days.
Yes I will LITFA.
Thanks for all the help everyone. I don’t care what everybody else says, you guys are all right.
Plenty will contradict that, thanks buddy
A root on the peat pucks!! This is the earliest stinky paralyzer. She’s got a skunky stem rub. @seamonkey you were the one that encouraged me to try this method.
Longtime since my last visit!!
Great buds at day 45!! Show us more bud pics!!
I’m following triple Durban cause it can be a great outdoor strain. Where is she from?
They are a gift from @lefthandseeds
I’ll try, I’m helping a buddy with 5000 sf grow right now. He is behind, a bit.
Edit: I hope all is well with you buddy.
Edit: I had to sit for a minute. I was just carrying some huge plants. Look at post 34
It ain’t true without pictures…lol, I know those suckers took off to/past your lights. I’m lucky I have 9’ lights to ground. With all the breeding I’ve done more boutique growing keeping most under 5’. That Triple grew itself. One of the least finicky plants I have grown. I’m ready for some bud runs as my med jars are out. I have a big GG4 that I mega cropped flipped today with a bush of Exodus Cheese that was gonna be a mother but I have a dozen beautiful cuts so I’ll pick another to carry as a bonsai mother.
Finishing up the F2’s on the Brutal Paw BX have 2 fully seeded that are Sativa leaners. I’ll be releasing some of the Brutal Paw x’s in February…
Those are all looking nice! Glad that rooting trick worked well for you. I didn’t get that tag since you didn’t complete my name in your post lol .
Looking really great @Badger! Keep up the good work
