Nice to have the ace up the sleeve eh?

Turning things around, will prove something. Your dang right bro. Anybody can take something doing well, and keep doing it.

The two spotted mites are big enough to see with the naked eye. Russet mites, on the other hand, are microscopic and also common in large cannabis grows.

You could easily get some isopropyl on a piece of paper towel or toilet paper and capture it with that then use some magnification for positive ID. The alcohol kills em on contact.

I thought about the capture next time I see one. I’ve seen russets swim in alcohol (50/50), before they die.

They have to be 2 spotted if they are mites.

The morning of day 9, so technically, 8 days.

The best part is the grow store told you don’t use the peat pellets to clone. They recommended the cubes, said they tried the pellets, and they didn’t work. @Seamonkey84

I’ve had same results with both, but the peat stands up better on their own and storage is easier. But since I’ve been using the plugs upside down and poking a new hole for the stem/seed, it hasn’t really been a problem. I’m still using plastic wide mouth containers. But if I start taking requests in the spring, I might want to get one of those plug trays and domes that hold like 50 or more… that’s a lot of cuttings to me lol. But even if I take just 6 cuts off each mother that I already have, that would fill it…

I have a dome with insert that I use on the cubes. I have a tray without an insert that I use for the pellets. I definitely can fit 50 in it though.

The best part was that clone didn’t like tent temps, nearest I can tell, and it flopped for about a day. This made me doubt if it was going to root, even after it perked back up (on top of the tent). That big male is a beast.

We just got hit with a rolling back out. They said it would last no longer than 1-2 hours… We will see. Unprecedented power demand with the cold temps.

Huh, we got rain/sleet instead of snow today, been less snow than usual already, not good for the spring thaw, the ground and streams need that spring melt water

I remember how cold the spring creeks were I Oregon from the melt.

I believe I have some senesence coming on. It had a weird shade that looks grey, in the middle picture.

Yeah they are starting to cannabalize their lower fans, so probably getting into that end phase now.

I would definitely like to grow these a bit larger. I think the buds would be super chunky if the roots would have gotten established before flip. I just need one potted clone to pull though, and everything worth looking at further is backed up.

Cold enough for yall now?

Probably not, I don’t see anyone riding quad bikes or skidoos over the ice you have there :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Haha, no ice fishing shacks yet :joy:

It’s probably gonna be gone today or tomorrow, but just proof it has been cold. I saw the deepest part of the lake towards the damn, and it was open, but the majority of the lake looked like that.

We had a couple of people drown trying to “save” their dogs on the ice. As far as I heard, all the dogs survived. Even before I heard that, there is no way I’m going out on it. That would be nuts.

Also, I thought this was kind of cool I had s trifoliate invade in one of my pots. Normally I’ve been getting a few tomatoes out of my worm bin. I’ve never seen a trifoliate though.

Just teasing you buddy, cold is a relative term, depending on what you are used to.

The lake at the back of my bro in laws place has to have 10 inches of ice before anyone goes out on it.

Even then I don’t trust it being nearly 300lbs. At 10 inches you can drive a car on it though. We would have huge bonfires on it and just sit around the fire chatting and drinking all day, while the kids skate around, and the neighbors would come out on their ATVs and skidoos. I got some pics some where, I sent to all my buddies in the UK after we emigrated, with the caption, what looks out of place here.
