Hey @Badger I was concerned about that PPP. It under performed. I sent you the original then the two crosses if I remember right. Which did you plant?
This was 2 of the 3 original beans. One didn’t pop no matter how hard I tried.
Nope, anytime I can help you are free bro.
34-35 a bag at grow Gen with our discount.
What size bag?
Here you go.
@Guitarzan Do you have a Menards close by?
Holy shit not more than 30 a bail here
Never seen one.
Nah, just Wally World. They’ll sometimes carry the Vegetable/Flower mix. They had some this year, but it’s gone, and they never restock it.
@Badger, I called Grow Gen, and they’ve got the 3.8 cu ft bales of HP Mycorrhizae off the shelf for $40, so I’ll be headed to Tulsa tomorrow. Thanks for the hook-up man.
Anytime my friend.
If you need help getting a tax number, I would be more than happy to give guidance there as well. All you should need is a license number, address, etc.
Thanks for the reminder of how cute my son was before he turned 14!
Mcfrostyface was dried, and I couldn’t resist a taste. I took a few hits of a lower bud. It was a smooth, kinda sweet taste that I couldn’t really place. It threw me for a loop, because I was expecting a piney taste that would match the smell.
It was an immediate donkey kick to the dome. My head is still numb, 3 hours later. Not good thinking weed, but good for comyemplating life mysteries. I was jarring some buds and had to concentrate to remember which one I was on.
I went in and ate, finished up my stuff, and started watching a movie. I didn’t really want to get up after the movie finished (I didn’t get in on the start). The lazy kicked in and I started getting a bit tired. I really don’t feel like doing squat right now. I’m not really feeling any pain or soreness, though it was a busy week at work.
Nice potent medicine. I would almost call this day wrecker type stuff. I was warned it’s pretty heavy, but had to try it, regardless of the consequences. This stuff is probably gonna stick around for awhile. I’m interested to give it a better start before flip and see if the yield turns out pretty good.
Edit: just tried a little more. It’s not really a sweet taste, it’s more of an herby taste, still can’t really place it. It turned out really smooth for just a 10 day dry.
I tested out some purple Paonia Paralyzer 2. Same basic smell as the 7. It is hard to describe. I smell a little bubble gum, kinda, some sweet and a little fruity, maybe a little soapy ness or something.
The buzz is mellow, I decided to save it until it wouldn’t hurt me if it made me doze off. I feel mostly numb outer limbs. My back was sore earlier, and I don’t feel it now. It’s more body than head for sure. It seems like a nice evening relaxing smoke. If it kicks my butt here in a bit, I’ll report back.
Looks good brother
The Paonia 2 did make me tired a bit later. It was a relaxed tired, not a knockout tired. I feel like I slept pretty well.
There wasn’t much to work on today, and I got paid and off early. I took advantage of the situation.
We are looking at using some larger pots and longer veg times, so we will need some more soil. This is a perfect time to give a good test to the bio live I picked up. I basically use coots mix.
First step is to hydrate a 5 gallon bucket full of sphagnum peat moss. I had some rain water in the wheel barrow, convenient. Then I add a few cups of biolive, a cup of basalt rock dust, gypsum, and oyster shell flour. I add almost a cup of azomite because it can have high levels of aluminum (there are haters, I know), and add some extra kelp meal to make up the difference.
After I mix that up well, I add worm castings. I’ll add that I’m not a fan of commercial castings, but my local guy moved his operation and won’t have any for a month. If there is some damage to the micro life, the micro life in the bio live should make up for it.
Another good mixing follows. This compost was delivered by a local company last year, and I stored what I couldn’t use, just for today. I still have enough for several more batches also. I add almost a 5 gallon bucket, and mix well.
I was happy to find pumice today! I had been having a hard time finding much besides perlite. My next quest will be to pick up some rice hulls. Add a 5 gallon bucket for aeration.
I ran out of sphagnum peat for the last batch, I thought I had another in the shed. I already used it making my newer worm bin, and other soil. I mixed the rest 9f the batch up, and will add it later. You don’t have to do this all in a perfect order. Thank God it’s not like mixing chem salts at work. You gotta do it just right.
Speaking of mixing in later, I’ve never charged my bio char before. I decided to change that. Today I also found charcoal, that was smaller pieces, and also marketed for the garden. Since it’s the same basic process as biochar, I picked some up, plus charged some of the biochar I’ve purchased previously. You can see the size difference. The biochar is much smaller, and also much more expensive. The large chunks don’t bother me.
I had seen several people using fish fertilizer to charge their bio char, but I don’t use the stuff anymore. I took a big spoon full of kelp sludge I had made the other day. I added neem meal, since it’s not in my mix anymore. To top that off I added some labs. I figured the police of knf would be a great addition to the biochar which is supposed to be a great place for the soil microbes to populate. I’ll soak it for a day or two and add it later.
I love productive days. I’m topping that off with some blue kush 6 tester buds. They don’t seem as potent as 5 (mcfrostyface), but I’m still nice and relaxed, I guarantee that.
I think you mixed up the order you did things roll a joint was supposed to be at the top of the list then start work.
Well, dang… I forgot to include the most important part!
Well @Badger heres pics of the Mowie you sent me, got two going I’m pretty sure theres a brother and sister there
