I got a lower bud of frosty tested today. I’m pretty happy with the results, especially considering it didn’t get recovery time after up potting, and it was seeded. I can’t wait to see what a proper run will yield.
What strain is Frosty?
Very nice, you make sure you save me a snip or three before you dump.
That is something I made.
Reynards blue kush bro.
Of course bro. I have you in mind. Plus I’m gonna keep this around for awhile. Both of the terps that tested high are good, pain relievers. They’re both more stable than myrcene also.
I don’t do this near as often as I should. I read back up on some Tim wilson material, and he prefers simple. I used a heaping cup of compost, a heaping cup of ewc, and 7 tablespoons of unsulphered molasses. Sunday morning there will be some happy plants.
I also wanted to show off my homemade splash guard. My brewer makes a mess without it.
I’m trying a hydro now, first time. Is that a reservoir? I guess theres 3-4 different ways to do it. I’ve just got a bucket with lid and an air stone I change water once a week.
I’m brewing some compost tea. I’ve never tried Hydro myself. I’m all organic.
After the results of @Shaggy450r first Hydro run though, I have thought about it.
If I were to, I would probably want to run aquaponics. I’ve contemplated that before. It’s more complicated, but also provides fresh fish.
Wait, what did you say??!! Lol. Aquaponics looks cool as shit!
I’m doing deep water culture I guess
Same pots, they look happier, and this is pre tea. I think I’m keeping them a bit more moist.
I think i found a new style of growing I want to try. Same soil, but bottom watering. It seems a neat way to let the plant self regulate its environment.

This should outfit my 4x4 nicely. Home depot is not my go to, but they were stocked up, so I couldn’t help myself.
I think the newest soil I’ve moved up that uses pumice will be perfect. I also picked up rice hulls, so those are gonna get mixed into some of the stuff that is cooking, but not aerated yet. Anyone know how to ensure this is bug free? I thought about a low oven temp would be great.
I would dig in and look for those tiny bugs that always seem to make it in. If you don’t see anything your prolly just fine
I’m mainly worried about the stuff I can’t see, like mites or eggs.
I think you worry to much
Maybe, but I have read somewhere, that somebody had issues.
My problem is that I read and retain too much, plus I can be a perfectionist.
When I had problems with damping off back in the day, I baked all my soil before use, to kill any possible contaminants.
I’m just busting your balls. My dad says that to me all the time. I bake my mushroom substrates in the oven at 240 degrees for about 40 min. From compost to vermiculite. Seems to work fine. I haven’t had any problems since doing that.
Damn, going all in with the sip’s!!
Grew tomatoes in those once. Really easy and good results. Actually didn’t know that is what they were called at the time.
Figured I could run a tent and see what happens. I haven’t read anything bad, granted I’ve got 147 more pages to read.
