If you already have 4’ shop lights with standard fluorescents, you can simply by-pass the ballast (straight wire) and buy the replacement LED bulbs for about 9 bucks apiece on Amazon…cheaper that way. It’s what we did here… no need to buy the whole fixture

I did that with some t5s a few hours ago!!
I should have led bulbs tomorrow.
It will either work, or we are having an early independence day celebration.

To do the by-pass is a simple procedure, just cut out the ballast n toss it lol But the replacement LED bulbs you need to make sure are ‘double ended’ in other words it won’t matter which end is which.

hell yeah lol
edit… if you try using the single end bulbs, I’m not sure if you’ll blow em or not when you turn on the power to them. Be careful bro, I’m thinking you’ll not be able to return blown bulbs. Not to mention the fire/explosive hazard (if any) they might just not come on …period

With little red mites everywhere in these parts, I’m trying to seal my tent a bit better also. After a good cleaning, and pm treatment, I had a project to repurpose some plastic. I had been keeping this duct open to help with airflow. Now there is a barrier in place.
I also put some essential oil bug spray in all the possible entry points, corners, and crevices.

I only tripped my power bar once! Now my tent is all led. It is also much better for photos.

I’m thinking about transplanting these little ladies into some super soil, or top dressing them n the current pots with super soil any thoughts?
They’re like 3 weeks old and not growing much. @ReikoX any idea?
