Badger goes camping with his buddies

The onion thrips survived the rubbing alcohol! It was insanity! Even a spider mite isn’t that tough. oh I think I drank too much coffee today, I’m the turbo poster. drinks some more

How effective would a good hot soapy scrub do? It works for the wu flu.

That is crazy man! I’ve seen russetts swimming in 50/50. In the end I believe it got them, but still.

I’ll have some tea with ya. Ha ha.

Not sure, bleach is cheap and easy to sanitize between cuts. I didn’t research further. ISO is nice to get resin off of tools though.

Yeah, my only concerns were that bleach tends to corrode things, and my wife gets a headache from the smell, mostly the second one.

I put that sh*% on everything!

I’ve always wondered about the anti microbial capabilities of modern copper alloys. Would it kill a virus?
edit: oh I looked it up… maybe I am smart?

C’mon Joe. Are you gonna make us all look it up?

If you are really into this copper idea, I have a far more technical article I can post as well:
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1937586715592650
tells you the different lethal alloys that are common.

The growth on these is obvious day by day, not so much the one in the back left corner (she’s always been slow). The ppp3 seems the fastest grower.

City pickers came out with half size, and we stocked up. They hold about 4.5 gallons, so we will see his that size works. The 5x5 is loaded and ready to flower after everything recovers and grows a bit. 5 of the terp bombs are confirmed male, a couple confirmed female, and the last 3 are up-potted anyhow.

So are those in soil and just bottom watering?

The top picture yes.

The rest, they will be bottom watering. The directions tell you to top water once, then start using the sub-irrigation. The last time I top watered twice, the second time with a tea. I plan to do that this time also to make sure the new soil is kick-started.

Then I will fill the reservoir with ro water and a splash of labs.

We will see Sunday how we’ll this worked. I also took out the t5s and put in some small, led shop lights they should be slowed down nicely. The small ones that I just up potted should be fine.

Notice the sacrificial tester in the tiny pot.

Got home a bit early, and everything looks really great. They love these little full-spectrum shop lights. I think im gonna leave them in.

The plant in the tiny pot even seems fine.

Edit: the orange grove seemed to explode actually looking at the pics again.

It was these cheap shop lights from harbor freight.

I just picked up a ecobrite shop light, still need to install it.

I would get it put up man. From what I’m seeing it would help for sure.

Those plants look super happy

I guess they are a testament to swick watering, led lights, and litfa.

I think even when I put the larger lights back in today, I’ll keep watering them the same way.

I was floored at all the stuff the vault sent me for the contest prize. I also didn’t know you could get papers with tips. It’s almost like I’ve been holed up in a den. :joy:

My wife brought me the shot glass, so I dropped a few seeds as well.

I examined the pearlite trays, and they were much lighter than when left. I added about a half gallon to each, and some damp perlite is all that was left. I was really glad they worked, out. I’m keeping the orange grove seedlings in them for now, since they seem to be so happy.
