There was a good article in Maximum Yield mag. about how cannabis flower is considered the next super food. Raw flower is supposed to be packed with good stuff for you.
It may have been a couple of years since I saw it. I have the mag somewhere. It’s an interesting article. Maybe a google search would find stuff.
Interesting this is just leaves though, I presume they have some nutritional value but if not they do give me some satisfaction so I do try to eat them, it’s also just a good way to dispose of them without them being discovered it’s pretty densely populated where I am. Also my neighbour over road has got a grow on. He’s borrowing my veg tent, we set it up together, I set the carbon filter up and extraction but he just don’t listen and has disconnected it. And although I let him flower some clones I had of the darker pheno of frosted cobra early this year he has not learned from disrupting light cycle, when he seeded that batch he came saying there must be male in there. Told him no you have made them hermie, they can’t just change! Yes they can grow male stamen on flowers.
He apologised after some research and put it down to over feeding which he was also doing. But other day he opened tent in front of me in dark cycle, thought it was empty at first as no negative pressure. Told him off and getting a little dismayed as I’m waiting for that tent back as he was supposed to be making grow room which he does possess the skills as I’ve seen him put one together for his friend. But some people just won’t listen. I’ve told him he needs air exchange but he knows better

Hey guys. Fairly new to OG and have just been hearing people talk about Sam’s stock all over the place so I thought I’d take a look, but I’m not terribly experienced with strains either and could maybe use some recommendations. I mostly smoke to manage pain so I’m just basically just trying to do that all day and leave myself varying degrees of functional. Mostly looking for a morning and afternoon/evening strains that relax the body and help with the pain with some uplifting effects. I also like a heavy indica that takes me off to dreamland, it’s just finding potent indicas for sleep is fairly easy, mostly just dabbling to see what I like best. So if any of you kind folks could point me towards a few strains I’ll go do some patented overthinking on them and drive my gal crazy while I try to figure it out!

Think Sam’s sold out on the 1st aid so you might want to take up the beez offer on that one. Was actually going to recommend it as it helped me with mild neck pain. Haven’t run it myself but the Frosted Cobra looks like a winner and is on my want to grow it list. I’ve grown the parents and they were awesome so really want to give it a try. There’s a pheno that drops so much trichs it looks like sand in a bottle towards the end of your stash.

@FailingForwards I have his Grand Funk Railroad going now. Should flip to flower in the next week. I think this will be a potent strain, based on the parents. But won’t know until they finish.

I’m still learning Sam’s strains but I am so impressed with the Purple Poison Cookies for the terpene ecstasy on top of the relaxing but groovy feeling buzz. Terps are a big part of the healing/relieving process. That pot keeps a smile on my face. When I smoked in the truck before going into the store or out in public, I always got a tap on the shoulder and a big smile, a thumbs up, or a comment on how good I smelled, lol. It was such an intoxicating flavor and smell. Maybe I got a special pheno, I don’t know, but I have 3 vegging now!
I would love to try his Baked Alien Cookies. It should be a good one as well. In two or three years I haven’t grown anything as tasty and enjoyable as the Purple Poison Cookies. I love terpenes and it’s an intoxicating winner!
I grew a few others last year outside but I fubbed it and have to re run them. Spitting Cobra, Spectral Tangerine, and another that I’m too stoned to remember atm. I liked the Spectral Tangerine even in my screwed up attempt. I think Sam has very high standards and won’t let anything sub par go out with his name on it if it isn’t fire. I’m not a fan boy sort of guy either, but I will give credit freely when it’s deserved.
Check out the Baked Beanz thread. You’ll be even more confused. Good thing is any choice should be a good one. I haven’t heard one cross word anywhere about his work. Lots of us here are older and suffer chronic pain and supporting the best medicine is high on the list.
If you grab them from Soakin Beans and @Kakalak you will be well rewarded with the freebs! peace
I think them two are in khoots on the terp train I haven’t grew much from @SamwellBB but the plum gum from @Kakalak is in my top 3 of intoxicating smelling strains I’ve ever grew still a few weeks away from sampling it and it’s been tough not to snip a tester .
Any thoughts on this Platinum Valley x (TK x ChocoD)?
