Yup, you get advil (or nothing) now. People are dying of street-fentanyl overdoses & somehow that means we have to suffer after root canals without a single Vicodin. Not real sure they got the math right on that one. Instead of prescribing 30, try prescribing 3… instead of zero. Pendulum always swings too far

My friend Ron had his eye operated on three weeks ago. He had been shot in that eye, with a BB gun, as a kid (yeah, just like the movie). His eye was pointing off to the side and they straightened it to match the other. They gave him two Tylenol #3 and sent him home! The next day I wanted to strangle some medical personnel. He was in tears. He knew I used to get Oxycontin a couple of years back. Thank God I had held on to a few.
It should be criminal to do that to someone! This guy has never even been arrested for a drug offense and he’s friggin 80 years old!

When I broke my shoulder in 7 pieces they gave me one Vicodin in the emergency room.
Couldn’t get in for surgery for 2 weeks but still wouldn’t give me pain killers.
That was the longest time of my life

Fuck, that all sounds real bleak boys, couple years ago they wanted you doped yo if you had a headache now it sounds like it’s like squeezing. Blood from a stone to get comfortable

That’s why a lot of us are here. I’m scared of strong painkillers, my fam has addictive personality. I’d rather grow my own medicine and have a little pain, than to be a zombie throwing my life away.

Doctors have abused their prescription pads for so many years and created many addicts. In true form the system flipped in the opposite direction but to far off centre. We always go to extremes. Now it’s patients that pay for that shit. I remember last time my sciatic nerves acted up and I literally could not walk. Really appreciated the Advil the doc suggested, the asshole. I am not a big fan of prescription drugs but when you NEED the powerful stuff it should be available. Seems junkies have a much easier time getting these so called controlled drugs. It’s shameful.

I was one of those unfortunate ones. It was hell on my family for over ten years. I lost almost my family and everything we owned.
I held on to a small amount of those heavy pain pills for future needs. Who knows what the future holds. I may be in another situation like when that bull tore me up. I still hurt now but the pot makes it better.

i feel you on that man, those fucking things scare me too, but you’d think with some major surgery or trauma etc. etc. they’d find a happy medium to keep you comfortable but monitor you better. when i broke my back they had me on something or other that saved my life, couldn’t walk, couldn’t lay down, couldn’t shit etc. etc. without some kind of pain killer i don’t know what i would have looked like, but i was lucky to have a doctor that followed up with me frequently and started working me off of them ASAP, we need more like that, the healing process doesn’t stop when they turf you out of the hospital, its really just beginning at that point

I have always had a hard time getting pain meds. Even in the 90’s early 2000’s.
I guess I just look like a junky, I dunno. Prob a good thing though, myself and my family have a pretty heavy addictive personality disorder as well. One of my cousins went crashing through a veterinary ceiling into jail trying to feed his addiction.
He’s clean now thank Jah, but it was a hard road.

Can expand on this a little? Do you mean an elbow at the tub or the end of the tube, cause I’m having the damndest time getting this tube on that male end.

Could try heating up the hose with a blow dryer or similar, should make it expand a bit and slide right on…

Don’t heat PVC, it gives off toxic fumes, use a lubricant rather, coconut oil or whatever.

Tried that, even got out the dab torch. I think my male part is bigger than the rest

Hey dude, I was referring to the end of the drain tube, frenchy uses that 90 degree pvc elbow and a threaded plug but the ones I was able to find didn’t feel like they fit well so I bought a different elbow with a male threaded end and a garden hose cap w/ a grommet but that shit ended up leaking, I also know some folks get like brass or pvc ball valves but I’ve heard those leak as well, basically that 90 degree pvc elbow doesn’t look or feel like it’d be water tight but it is.

It sounds like if you’re having trouble getting the drain line hooked up to the bottom of the wash body that you need a larger ID tubing like I did, I think mine ended up taking a 1” ID tubing
