@BigMike55 would you say the Marshydro 2x4 beats the AC infinity 2x4 kit?

I love Ac infinitys tent combo bundle but they are never ever in stock in uk and sell out fast!! ive been waiting all week for the fan and light to come back in stock so i can purchase it all once!

but im unsure if the mars hydro 2x4 could be an option with that nice SP3000 light??

This is my first run with a 2 X 4. And I have never run AC Infinity. But I don’t think I would hesitate buying this. The zipper on this tent is really nice. Smooth and it has a nice stiff flap over the zipper to keep out light between the zipper teeth. The fabric is nice and thick too Much thicker than the Vivosun 4 X 4 I have. Other than those pluses, … I mean, it’s a grow tent.
I do think the star of this show will be the light. It’s damn nice!

Will be following along as i’ll be doing some testing aswell

That light looks incredible! and also its like readily available for me to buy now in the UK as a combo with the tent…

Ac infinity I won’t knock it because it does look plush and all! however… sometimes things can be a bit gimmicky, yes its amazing that the fan can automate with the controller, clip fans included but for the lights part… I dont see why you would need automation from a controller on a light to be honest…

besides… tinkering about with everything is what makes growing fun right? I’ve just had a sudden change of heart and i think im now swinging torwards the marshydro 2x4 combo… I have spent a month waiting for Ac infinity aswell to buy everything including there @s24 ionboard…

I don’t think you will be going wrong. The only thing I use from AC Infinity is their exhaust fans. So as far as their tents go, I don’t know.

I absolutely love AC’s fans.

Now, I don’t know anything about what Mars Hydro offers for exhaust fan.
Here is something that I do with my exhaust setup. I leave the filter off until I set my plants into flower. I did not my first tent grow. I noticed the filter was super clogged with dust almost to the point of unusable. The smell without, during veg, is not too stout, to me. Then when I set them into flower, I attach the filter. I can get two or possibly three grows doing this, before needing to get a new filter.

But I do use the exhaust fan filter-less to control humidity.

yep i left my filter off on my first ever grow too so glad i did that… seems to be going ok… the only thing i did have today was the humidity hit 38% when it was 27c so i wish i had automated that exhaust to turn off to keep the humidity stable i dont think its a killer for my crop as the humidity has been low here today where i live but its all a learning curve… one thing i know for sure… that SP3000 is a beast!!!

I love it

Mars Hydro recently added a new controller version to their system.

That looks pretty nice right there. I am going to put my AC Infinity on the roof of the tent and suck the air from the tent, thru the fan, and then out thru the filter. That will give me a good 6-8 inches of headroom inside the tent.

Nice. They look like the AC ones but I mean that’s looks, have not tried one. I love my AC because it was so much quieter then the cheaper ones I have used and has a good controller.

Yes. The Vivosun was much heavier, louder and when they decide to go south, that’s it.
The AC is Super light. I did not spring for the thermostatic controlled fancy one. Just the manual one with the volume knob, but it is sooo sweet.

Again Congratulations @BigMike55
Looking forward to seeing what you can do with your new setup! What is the Buddhas Cane? I think I should know this… is it related to Laughing Buddha? Anyway looking forward to seeing what you can do with it!

Best of luck brother! :+1:
