Checked my neighbours, in case they had gotten the delivery or taken the package in for safe keeping. No tent! (It would be funny if my old neighbour in her 80s stole it to grow dope)
Really hope this is the pinnacle of adversity for this grow
Man I hope they fix that for youā¦ if someone stole itā¦ that would be some crazy shitā¦ imagine some teen running down the street carrying that damn thing lolā¦ I hope it isnāt the case thoughā¦ youād think the company would be very fast at finding outā¦ Iād be calling until I spoke to someone for sureā¦ not just an email @jessethestoner
On top of all thatā¦ if it was stolenā¦ Iād never have anything shipped to your address again like thatā¦ someone you trustā¦ have it shipped to them next timeā¦ if it was stolen that isā¦ so thereās no chance of whoever it was if it was someoneā¦ to do it again. Iād think Purolator would or should have insurance for times like this though maybeā¦ I truly hope you find resolve @jessethestoner I know how disheartening that can be for sure
Yea, thefts have become more common, especially in edmonton from what i have heard. A giant box on a porch is an easy target though and the delivery drivers are in such a rush they dont try to hide something or anything, drop and go. It makes me hesitant to have anything delivered till i find out what happened.
I can have future stuff dropped off in the back and it would be safe.
The delay is all right, i dont need the tent right now, its more for next year. Thanks very much terps, i appreciate you
I am sure itll get worked iut. Just hope they dont make me go file a police report or anything
For sureā¦ alsoā¦ the option to place on back porch is a 50/50 ā¦ I had to call amazonā¦ after complaining via message ā¦ just to get them to really change it in their systemā¦ I threatened to never order againā¦ if it happens 1 more timeā¦ because it continued to happenā¦ itās been back porch 98 percent ever sinceā¦ like u said the drivers donāt careā¦ and they dontā¦ they care about getting done in timeā¦ which is almost impossible these days @jessethestoner
Thanks very much for your assistance Vivosun, your customer service reached out and made everything right. Really appreciate the help, you made this headache go away fast.
@medmanbrand wow, good to see you. Havenāt seen much of you since then, icmag really took a turn for the worse and I left for the shroomery. The Rks 1&2 that I got from you were great classic kinda strains. I grew out all the rks 2 and got some great afghani looking stinky stinky skunks. Can you tell me the background on the rks 1? lost my notes on it a while back, and searching through icmag is such a pain.
cutting down the black candylands in my tent. going to clean it and move the seedlings in by next monday. This black candyland is incredibly dank. growing from clones rules!
Ya man. The last decade was a whirl wind for the company.
I just came off a 2 year growing and breeding respite in June 2022.
My main focus is bringing back a stable road-kill skunk and restarting my gene bank of clone only genetics.
Iāve acquired and still have some original skunk weed plants and seed going back to 1981 at least. Frankly my only objective is to put time and energy into a long term project
The rks from icmag was a mix of Canadian and Cali skunks I collected over the years. Just had no time or space to test them.
I did collect some untouched columbian gold and afghani seed since 2019 in peru and direct from kandahar. You should see the crosses I made outside this year with the 81 rks male.
I see where skunk1 is becoming popular again. I havenāt seen skunk in a minute. I had some dank skunk in the early 2000. Some sweet clones. The smell was funky.
Does anyone have experience adding gypsum to coco coir? Going to be mizing up some coco, promix, perlite and thinking about adding some dolomite lime and gypsum for extra calcium and magnesium reserves.
Also have some compost mix that will be going into the mix, for some added nutrients.
