I have fungus gnat issues, but nube suggested Gnatrol last grow and that shit cleared them right up. I just watered my plants with it as a preventative a couple minutes ago, matter of fact. Added a couple sticky traps to each pot, too, just to be safe.
I dunno if the Biowar gets rid of pests. I’ve never had an issue with anything other than fungus gnats (knocking on wood really, really hard right now haha). It definitely doesn’t get rid of fungus gnats. But my plants just seem healthier, greener, more vigorous and vibrant when I use it. I’m not a shill for OG Biowar, either, I just think it’s the best inoculant around. But it’s never eliminated my fungus gnat issue. Gnatrol did, though. I dunno if it’d work for other issues. As I understand it, Gnatrol’s just a specific bacteria strain that feeds on fungus gnat larvae. I dunno. Shit works, though.
Good luck on your trip! Wear a mask and wash your hands haha.

First off let me say, @minitiger you will never say something/anything to offend me, you may talk freely with me. And second, yah for sure it was exactly like @HolyAngel said. I am trying to establish a cause and effect between the living soil and there not being any mites. The evidence I have gathered point towards germ theory, where no matter how shitty or good your plant is doing, only exposure to a replicating pathogen generates disease as per germ theory of disease.

reminds me when it comes to organics, Elaine Ingham is definitely my goddess. That alone, says something about me.

Well, yeah, obviously if any sort of pest/pathogen is introduced into a grow, then the plants will have to deal with it. Plants in healthy living soil will deal with it better. That seems obvious, too.
I feel like we’re talking in circles now. Are we talking in circles? My brain hurts for sure, I’m certain of that.

yah but that’s the thing right? It’s presented as a dichotomy between healthy living soils or having pests when healthy living soils has nothing to do with it. That’s why I presented the simpsons clip, it was to illustrate that the soil condition and the plant disease known as spider mites are not linked in any way. Also, my claim is that living soils or dead soils or hydro, the spider mites rip through the plants just as quick.

Here is the tray of clones a few days ago. Today I up planted 9 rooted clones. I did 5 into 4"rockwool cubes and 4 into 1 gallon pots with the ol’ happy frog. I sterilized the pots with bleach and also re sterilized both tents with bleach wipes and bleach spray I made with just water and bleach.
Before uppotting I dunked all the clones in the 5 gallon buckets, but this time just used room temp water instead of the 115 degree water ! I soaked them for about an hour. Should be enough to drown any insect. Gonna hit them with the lost coast plant therapy asap. Got 5 more to do upplant tomorrow. I dimmed the led down to about 50%.

Note to self: plants are not best served… medium rare…

They usually have a very good sale every year on American Thanksgiving. If you need any more that’s the best time to stock up.

A brief (ish) update before I post a few pics.
My trip to Denver worked out well. Bought all the ingredients in @nube’s ipm recipe. Also picked up wettable sulphur, mighty wash, Lost Coast Plant therapy, and a few other items. However I spent wayyy too much at the liquor store !
Friday evening I gave the transplanted clones a dose of the plant therapy. All looked well yesterday. I also upplanted 8 more clones yesterday. Its a process- Sterilize the buckets first, then give the clones a 40 minute to hour long dunk in the water, rinse and scrub them off before putting them in medium. 7 of the 8 went into rockwool cubes 1 went into a (sterilized) 1 gallon pot with the happy frog. Gonna hit all of them again tonight with the lost coast. I turned the led back to 18/6 from 24 hours. Temps are topping out at 65 with lights on and are around 57 with lights off. Rh is in the mid 50’s
In other news, Ive had a bit more time around the house over the past week. We had a dinner party at our house a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately 2 people that were there both tested positive for the Rona at the beginning of last week. My boss told me to not come into work til next wednesday (wednesday is my work week monday). My wife was told by the county health commissioner to quarantine til the 1st. Neither of us has had any symptoms. Both of us already had it in march and april, however we’ve been told that the antibodies dont last for that long. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days !

A few more recent ones from the “other” tent. My buddy took these on Friday, which if im not mistaken is day 16 of flower. Today is day 19 from flip.
Here is the SSDD
And one of the Clusterfunks
I should mention that as of now, none of these 3 plants in the "other"tent have been treated for pests, in any way.
I hit all the upplanted clones at my place again last night with more lost coast plant therapy. Today I once again cleaned the entire tent and surrounding area with diluted bleach spray and bleach wipes. It real cold up here right now. With the lights on the temp in my tent is right around 60. I still have the exhaust fan on the lowest setting. Cant even hear it spin ! Wife dont allow the heat to be on til thanksgiving. Rules are rules.

That Clusterfunk looks like it’s taking it sweet time to start flowering, huh? I can’t remember how long mine took, but it definitely wasn’t much more than ten weeks. Might’ve even been like 9.5. Looks good, though!

Been hitting them every other evening at lights out with the lost coast plant therapy. Most of them have seen it 4 times now.
The protocols Ive implemented so far. When upplanting the clones they all get dunked in water for about an hour. After that I scrub and rinse them before uppotting. The pots (and everything) else are sterilized using a 3 to 1 ratio of diluted bleach. I use the same mix to wipe the areas around both tents (and zippers) before and after entering. I also have been using that mix to wipe down all the surfaces in the tents. I also do this every other day. I plan on continuing the every other evening sprays as well.
I am going to switch from the lost coast to the recipe @nube posted. I plan on hitting them with that tomorrow. Although it might be a good idea to hit them with a fresh water rinse before switching sprays
One final mode of attack, I bought a bottle of sns 209 to use in the nute mix as a systemic. I read in another post that worked well for someone else, @PlantShepherd maybe ? Ive spent so much time on here trolling all the mite threads that I cant remember anymore ! lol

those are pretty good protocols, I don’t think a mite could survive that kind of harsh environment.
