Spinosad is the same… It can not move within the plant when applied as a foliar, meaning new plant growth is not effected.
One of the greatest songs ever written.
Anyway…
True dat. But I swear, Iamyou, even if I was, uh, some kinda AI thing, I would never, ever tell you to eat a bag of dicks haha.
I will also say that that AI shit could never write as entertainingly as I can haha. I’ve read some of those AI “poems” and “essays” and shit. They’re garbage.
I haven’t seen all of them, but the one you posted here is pretty fucking funny.
I know you weren’t asking me, but I’d say it is. All’s I know is that I read about it at some point in the last eight years or so and determined that it’s not something I wanna use on my plants.
If bees don’t like it, neither do I.
Dude, same here. It took me like five days to get over not being able to post immediately haha. It’s why I only just now logged back on to OG.
Look what the cat dragged in! Glad to see you back homie!
Thanks, brother. I missed y’all… haha.
I missed seeing that damn dodgers logo popping up around here. Never got as deep into Dr. Dog’s catalog as I would’ve liked, they always struck me as being a modern riff on the Butrhole Surfers like avidly arthouse vibe, I should dig in and see if that assumption is accurate or not
What? Butthole Surfers? Haha, not at all. Not even close. Psychic. Powerless. Another Man’s Sac is what I put on when we’re ramping up to eat some shrooms or whatever, getting hammered; Dr. Dog’s album Fate is what we put on when the shrooms have fully taken hold, after we’ve listened to Pet Sounds and Revolver haha!
Fate is actually the only album of Dr. Dog’s that I love and that I can listen to beginning to end; the rest of their discography is just okay. But Fate is a fucking GREAT album. One of my favs. You should check it out, I think you’ll like it. And Psychic. Powerless… by the Buttholes is for SURE one of my favs, you should check that one out, too haha. That’s an all-time greatest album-type album.
Anyway… I missed you, too, legs… haha.
I love the Butthole Surfers, I like Hairway to Steven quite a bit as well with songs like “Jimi” and “I Saw an X-Ray of a Girl Passing Gas” as being the more memorable ones haha. Also like Ween a lot so there is that.
Wow, Spinosad? I gotta look into that.
I always had a feeling it might not be that great since its a fermented bacterium and we never tested its ingestion through combustion
It’s a banned substance in Canada.
Merely because if its environmental toxicity to non-mammalians, right?
I just read the MSDS, havent seen one mention of cyanide or the other compounds you listed.
Can you post the source?
Im looking for a reason to not use spinosad and the only one ive found is that it kills bees, fish, birds, etc.
yah, definitely hazardous to the environment.
Yeah, that album’s okay, but not nearly as good as Psychic… That album really is one of the only ones from my youth that I still listen to on a regular basis. Maybe once every five years, I’ll put on The Misfits or something, but Psychic… is for sure in regular rotation over here haha. Locust Abortion Technician gets played a lot, too haha.
I love that name, though: Hairway To Steven. Pretty funny. A friend of mine got me, like, the “definitive Butthole Surfers book” for my birthday a couple years ago, but I still haven’t read it. I oughta sit down and crack it open.
Is this a joke? Are you joking right now? I can’t tell. Because it’s the gawddamn internet haha.
It seems to me that anything that kills bees, fish and birds is probably something you yourself don’t wanna be ingesting. But that’s just me…
Thats a product that contains spinosad, but is not spinosad.
Its the solvents in that product that are creating the chemical byproducts, they are not created by spinosad as those chemical byproducts are not listed in the spinosad MSDS.
Kind of serious
I had to use it in Humboldt to beat thrips.
I see uts harmful to invertebrates, but listed not harmful to mammalian vertebrates.
ok, well how about this:
cyanide is carbon triple bonded to nitrogen. Anything with a cyanide group will produce hydrogen cyanide, including the combustion of weed.
Yeah, I wasn’t criticizing you or anything, I was just curious.
Still, though… If I don’t have to use spinosad, I’m not going to.
I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised that none of the current plants are showing any kind of pest damage or anything at all so far (except for the PM a couple weeks ago haha). They all look great, although the Santa Cruz Pure Haze hybrid is looking seriously deficient in, uh… something haha. I dunno what, maybe Mg, but I’m not worried about it. She’s all red-looking and shit, purple, looks pretty cool, despite the fact that I know she looks like that because I’m fucking up haha.
I’ve gotta water tonight, maybe I’ll take some pics, too.
Anyway, yeah, spinosad. I’m gonna skip that unless I absolutely have to do it. So far, though, I think this sorta “dirtiest grow ever where I’m not showering or really doing too much of anything beyond washing my hands and forearms before watering” thing is kinda working out… haha.
Okkkk…, how does cyanide end up in a fermented bacterium?
Where are you finding cyanide in Spinosad?
Yeah, that haze does look nice, cool rainbow
And ive only used the Spinosad once as a last resort. Its nasty stuff for the environment.
Interestingly, it looks like you can make it by fermenting kashi, since its fermented actinomyces.
.
I really dont get pest problems if Ive been using PNSB / Em1 / bokashi.
Once that pseudomycelium gets going, it eats, repels, or melts pretty much most pests to cannabis.
Just go back and read what I posted. I’ve said the final word on my advice to legal producers: Don’t use it, End Of File.
It’s all about the Love - hash matty.
Couldn’t find any proof of either.
