Bodhi Guide - Seed and Strain Discussion (Part 1)

Sounds like a winner there! That’s a pack I wish I had, as well as many others I’m sure. Will be fun to watch you grow some more out. Best of luck with them!

So many seed projects I want to do, but Staff of Life is just calling my name. Thai for the wings, A1 on the back end for the stank…. I think this will be my spring pollen chuck.

There’s also the D9 Thai X DLA 5.

Cool picture of Drunken Parrot posted on Bodhi Guide on IG. But what I thought was funny was in the comments that I circled in red

Can’t lie, I 100% agree with you Helwi :man_shrugging:t2:

Vietnamese x Colombian x Afghani took a beating in Sunday’s quick downpour. Trimmed up one bud to see how it looks. Gonna have to pull her.

That’ll likely be a ways off in the future since Bodhi keeps releasing new crosses w the LL male. So as long as that male is around, he may re-release more of Pine Apple.

Speakeasy just dropped most of the new bodhi stuff.

I feel you there, I’m starting to try and plan a schedule for seed preservation runs and though I have a lot of older and rarer packs, F2ing the Smart Move I grew this year is pretty high up there, Bodhi has nice Thai selections

Totally. I like to make a bunch of f2’s, even if just from a few seeds, and then have a bunch to run over the years and get used to. Ive done the Vietnamese cross and ssdd. I really like them both so now I’ll always have them.

I can usually start something indoors in March, and flower outdoors in April-June, with a little light dep in the shed to make a batch of seeds each spring, before my flower run. I’ve actually got a late season seed run out there right now. GSC “s1” x Bodhi cookie lines. That’s going to be an adventure.

Speaking of Stevie Wonder, here are three Saints Crossing girls (Stevie Wonder x 88G13HP). I planted the seeds around 8 weeks ago.

This one has a little crinkle/twist to some of the leaves

Side view of the two in Octopots. The third is in a 3 gallon fabric pot which will end up in a friend’s garden

Been harvesting this Old Soul f2 the past week.
Already took down the really thick chunky tops (nearly mold free), but this pic will still give an idea.
Love these unique terps on Old Soul. As mentioned before, has an odd metallic scent to it.
Buds are muuuch thicker and bigger than the other pheno already harvested.

Overall, extremely pleased with the two phenos of this I got.
Excellent resistance to outdoor pressure and one had an end of Sept finish time. They def look and smell different though. Looking forward to the smoke…
