i did one full terpenado v1 pack. it had 3 or 4 different phenos. one with lots of red pistils started sweet-ish but by the end of flower completely rubber/tire. it was the better smoke but nothing i ended up keeping.
the other phenos ranged from herbal, citric, to creamy/sweet (similar to some of my other strawberry milk cross plants).
I hadnāt run either. Your descriptions sound more like what Iād expect of the parents more than the name. I have a pack of the original to. Is that different enough to run with the other for contrast?
Got some Chem 4 x Wookie going now(about week 5 of flower) and itās a winner for sure! It for sure reminds me of the old cut, but has a really heavy lavender gassiness that its incredible. Neroli91 is an all time favorite(Chem 91 x Wookie) Ive got it taken to F3, but as loud as the smell is on that line, I think the Chem 4 cross may even have a better smell. Def more ideal structure too! About to pop those Chem D x Wookies real soon too. IMO those Chems x Wookies are some of the best seeds available.

I agree with you. If you consider the pedigree they are infact a chem bx work. The thing is there are many types and Bodhi has selected more to the crisp clean side rather than the ~earthy side of other chem makes. I prefer it for sure!

At this point I think Bodhiās lost or is discontinuing enough dads that most of what gets passed out as F2s is probably fair game.

To me itās more likely Bodhi went digging in his seed fridge for crosses that were made during intermediate steps with PU males/females but that were not released until recently.

Reminds me of this beast of a sativa plant one time I grew that had a larger than 2-Liter sized massive colaā¦ but the damn thing took 100+ days to finish. I wish I knew what the plant wasā¦ it was a really ugly plant but it was huge. Bās plant looks way nicer. 
Heās also growing this strain called Pursang Haze from an old breeder named Sonic Seeds. That Pursang Haze was a real heavy hitter. I would love it if B incorporated that into a project somehow. I donāt think Sonic Seeds is even operating anymoreā¦ but they had some great stuffā¦ I loved their Sonic Boom! Blasts from the past.
Quite possibly. There is an ethical/respect boundary with the subject that is different for everyone. Projects can range from 5+ year organized breeding explorationstesting and documenting every accession over many fgen to pollen chuck 10k seed in a closet with reverse spray.
Some donāt care at all and others ary deeply invested in their art. Itās just one of those things to consider before distribution of someoneās makeā¦Bodhi seems to generally work with cuts already circulated and available and making them in seed form. Frankly on of the best at it and generally improves over the clone only imo.
For me I would not appreciate someone distributing copies of my long term projects. Partly because it canāt be copied. Some of the most legendary and exquisite lines have been destroyed to buried within one generation doing exactly that. Generally this happens with profit centric motivations. As a result many people think they have tried something, when in fact they never have.
For example. Most smokers have never been high. They have had sleepy indica and awake indica stones. Look at the cups around the country. None of the sativa category has more than 30% equatorial and some are even officially listed as indica genetics and effect.
Anyway. Itās still important to at least consider respect. Generally discontinued, personal and isolation projects are differentā¦it does seem like Bodhi might be either concluding, further developing or maybe even something altogether new?
Iāve always wondered what his true thoughts are on breeding with his old/rare/limited stuff. I know he generally gives his blessing to work with anything. Iāve personally asked about mothers milk, AOG, Lotus Larry, and Nepali OG and it was the same sentiment each time basically āby all means Iām honoured when others use my work in projects as itās like a tip of the hat to March each and every time, really appreciate you coming to me before hand though and I hope you find exactly what you are looking forā
@SmackyMcSmackers I donāt have proof of this, but I also have read that in the latter f gens of PU he lost some of the qualities and potency of earlier gens.

The F5 is a tool to make any line purple. The F3 is better for smoking and thatās what is in all the hybrids tho I believe he makes a lot of lines smell like literal 
think @HolyAngel disliked the PU as well, but I dont recall why

Not a big fan of the PU high myself but itās a great breeding tool especially if you are looking for purple or super FOUL AF scents! Purple Triangle was one I recall was pretty damn good but of course itās got TK in it, I grew 6 road kill unicorn at least 8 years ago maybe considerably more, on an ebb and flow table and didnāt pay enough individual attention as I was running 8 tables and 3 rooms of coco as well all mixed strains. I do recall foul scents for sure, and super greasy trichomes but it was a time I was also running a bunch of elite cuts and I really didnāt pay the attention I should have. But Iāll be damn sure paying better attention when I run and do an adage with the last 5 I know my mentor has a pack too so hopefully Iāll have a full pack at least to run a proper adage when I do 
Point is that he states it as fact and as Bodhiās actual motive/action. Looking for validation that Bodhi did in fact go back to F2 gen and begin working with that again versus opening the seed fridge and moving on with stuff he made long ago.
Many people have grown out multiple packs of the F5 and found it to be lackluster in terms of aroma, flavor, and effect but a definite breeding tool for breeders wanting to add purple to their projects.
The F5 seeds were the first time Bodhi released PU in pure seed form. But some people got cuts of PU (F3 I believe) directly from Bodhi and used them for various projects while B was still working toward the F5s that he eventually released.
Iāve only tried the Purple NL2, NL2 x PUF3 and while what I grew had decent potency, I didnāt care for the florally smells and most importantly, I didnāt like the high at all. The high from 6 girls wasā¦ dark, is about the best I can say. Was not fun happy life is good weed. More like the opposite. My in-laws fckn love the stuff tho, especially for edibles, and have no issues with it.
@minitiger had a similar experience with the Purple NL2.
I traded out the few PU packs I had as I wasnāt about to bother with the rest of them after that and reading about the literal 
smells in a lot of them.

I gave 6 Purple Unicorn F2 X 88g13hp to someone and they said it made them hella angry. Not slightly irritated but full on raging anger within. I still have 9 seeds and i showed earlier in the thread but this is why I never grew them. Iām kind of curious now though.
