There was, it’s what he used to make Tree of Life (Jack x Temple). I grew that one years ago, very good weed. I’m not sure if he made other crosses with that Temple male, though. If he did, good luck finding them now.

Very true, those are some very good examples that show another perspective. Based on my experience maybe it comes down to dominance of certain traits. Sour D seems like it has a profile nobody can nail down perfectly in seed form. It’s genuinely bizarre.
Seems like those complex profile like OG/Chem/sour are hard to nail down, but citrus forward is easier? Idk, this plant is perplexing lol.
Those are the last seeds in my fridge I’d be willing to give up… the place could be on fire I’m not leaving without those.

His latest releases have been Wookie 15 and 88g13hp heavy, and those have been around forever. Just a new female here and there.
Bodhi has access to some of the best and rarest genetics in the world. It would be cool to see him release something just… Different? With that collection and access to seeds, is it really a high expectation?
You sound like me when Snowlotus was his primary male 12 years ago. 
I remember thinking… enough of these damn Snowlotus crosses.

That was actually ten years ago haha, but I get your point.
I mean, he’s pretty hardcore about not releasing things with intersex issues or other undesirable traits. It’s possible that some of those rare genetics he has access to just aren’t producing crosses that seem worthwhile to him, for whatever reason. Or maybe he’s worried that “the masses” won’t appreciate them, I dunno. He’s been putting out some things lately that aren’t the typical GHash crosses; it’s just that they’re always such a limited amount of seeds that they get snagged by people who I suspect have, uh, less than noble intentions.
But I mean, zephyr grew that Chinese thing he released a few years back. There’s been the Iraqi stuff… Maybe some other things I can’t recall offhand haha…
But yes, a new male or two would be nice haha.

itd be interesting to see if any of us are up for a breeding collab project with dead lines. has anything like that been done over here? (not talking about a seedrun, but a collaborative breeding project).
Breeding practice shows that to obtain the desired result in the Cross Sativa -Indica is used as it is written, the mother is Sativa, and the father - Indica.
It is possible that the almost complete absence (with some exceptions) of the father of Sativa, including in Bodhi, is associated with this.
His T.V. uses thai-dom Destroyer.
I hope we see a lot of that male.

Pretty sure he said somewhere that the ghash line is his most, or one of the more, potent males he has. Pretty sure he also said in the potcast that he does the indi/sativa mashup as that seems to give the most varied effects.

Thanks for the kind words about the Hashplant 1 @advancedbuffalo. I’ve never experienced Chem 1 but am familiar with Chem 91 and this pheno seems to solidly lean towards its Chem genetics. What was unexpected is that this is looking to be the biggest yielder of the 4 strains grown this time around. First time growing Bodhi’s gear and so far impressed with vigor and taste/smell not to mention the yield.
Next Bodhi starting in a couple weeks will be 4Play (Chem 4 x Wookie)…
