Does anyone know… were there stability issues with the Killer G? Sounds like it was simply too dominant, but I didn’t know if there were any other issues.

Only that everything came out looking like it… deadly g was like an f8 or something. Bodhi f4’d the 88g13hp when he got it thinking they were f1s but they had already been reproduced a few times.

Ah… thanks for that. I remember hearing something about Bodhi accidentally over-inbreeding the G13HP but didn’t remember it was the Deadly G that was involved, not the mom he used in later hybrids.

I’m pretty positive it was the Deadly G and that’s why it was so dominant. I think he had a male and female that he bred with before realizing what happened/why. Once he did, he went back to the original beans he still had and selected a new male to use. And that male was used for everything until it got retired just recently.

I could be wrong tho but that’s what I remember

Did you run any of them sensi first or did you go directly to making the seeds?

You sent me quite a bit of snips, but many didn’t take well to cloning (perhaps stress from transport?)(also could’ve been user error lol) , so I ended up with successful clones of #3 and #6. My reversing of #3 was unsuccessful, but I was able to grow out #6. She’s lovely, very sativa leaning in terps and high. Super citrusey, very pungent on the nose. The high wasnt the best, but by no means bad at all. Continuous smoking will definitely throw you harder into the stone, but a bowl or two and you’re still very active and moving.

ahh very nice, yeah I would agree with your assessment on the 6… good taste but potency is pretty weak. I think the #6 would make some good fresh frozen live rosin haha I swear she smells exactly like skittles when you chop her down

I second that haha what she lacks in high she definitely makes up for in terps. I’d still have that pungent citrus on my fingers hours after inspecting her. If I could find something to cross her to with a good stone she’d have quite a lot of potential, my outdoor ssdd has been kicking my ass(in the best way), still contemplating on a possible cross of the two

You would be a saint if you can post an example of OG growth and Kush growth.

OG is Kush tho. Tall lanky stems, tight and dense nuggety buds, no long cola’s. Generally pretty good Calyx to Leaf ratio.

I do remember thinking that those City Name Pure Kushes (Hollywood, Topanga, Malibu etc) didn’t look like the OG’s, though.

First time I heard of that story brother I have released hundreds and hundreds of packs of 88G13/HP from the diff. gens. I have worked on . Brother Mota Rebel and brother Bodhi and bro Trefarmer were the only breeders I gave the F1’s to so they could reproduce or work them all they wanted. Other gens. went to med peeps and growers who just needed beans to grow to play it forward as these were given to me years ago by an oldtimer when I first went indoor to make meds so bee…

The thing is… I recall hearing the bit about Bodhi realizing the 88G13HP he had further inbred was likely already inbred too. I’m going to guess it was on one of the Pot Cast episodes but I couldn’t say for sure which one. Obviously that might be apocryphal, or maybe there’s another explanation (like, the “F1” seeds NDN Guy had weren’t actually F1s and the inbreeding occurred before NDN Guy received them).
