Bodhi Plant and seed guide (Part 1)

So, some good news - I’m sure you saw my post a couple up from yours also asking to trade for some metal haze… well, I reached out to JBC and they said they’d be getting more!!

Sunshine Daydream, closeups of the two shorter phenos.

Shortest plant, more sweet smelling berry than the others which are more funky.

Group shot, the two tallest plants grew too close to the lights and caused some bleaching on the very top flowers, but it shouldn’t keep up now that I adjusted the lighting.

Two outdoor females in the foreground with the dudes in back, the males are taking forever to open their flowers and release pollen. It’s starting to warm into the mid 60’s during the day so hopefully it won’t be long. The bees are starting to buzz around them so it should be a good sign of things to come.

I really love the way you’ve totally forgone, like, the white walls or any sorta reflective thing in that room and just painted a bunch of groovy shit on them instead haha. Seriously, when I was looking at those pics, I was like,”Why do these pics looks different than every other photo of any grow room I’ve ever seen, ever…?” haha! Then I realized,”Oh! It’s because there’s a globe with a rainbow running into it on one wall and some psychedelic shit on the other.”

Anyway, looking good!

You’re in the Central Coast area, right? I’m so glad it’s starting to warm up in LA again, during the day, anyway. Those last few weeks in the 30’s at night suuuuucked…

Yep. With BDSC you need to click into the item because they don’t show stock/out of stock on the main list. You can also add something to your cart and it will tell you if it’s out of stock when you try to check out. That’s really my only gripe with them–that it’s tough to see quickly if something is actually in stock.

Yep, Central Coast and it was definitely chilly for our standards of winter (even more so for you in LA!), especially so early in the season. Usually it gets that cold closer to and into February.

As far as the artwork on the walls, can’t take any credit for it.This outbuilding which is basically an uninsulated shed was already decorated that way when we purchased the house. Probably won’t mess with white walls or reflective paneling as that seems a bit stark for me. It may be 5-10 degrees warmer than outdoor overnight conditions but definitely not the cozy mid 70’s that people with grow rooms or tents prefer so they move a bit slower during the winter.

For sure, dude. Don’t change it. It’s awesome-looking. And the plants look pretty good, too haha!

Edit: if it wouldn’t be too much of an eyesore, maybe you could paint the outside of the shed black, just so it absorbs heat during the day. I dunno, just a thought.

Your SSDD’s are gorgeous, pretty work! Inspiring!

I’ve got one keeper in bloom, 43 days from flip. She’s got a nice sweet smell at the moment. Not exactly fruity or berry like, just a fresh sweetness. I suck at descriptions, lol!

And her sister (same pheno) has been hanging for about 10 days.

I’ll put some other pics up in my journal.

16 week pheno of eternal sunshine. Not as smelly as the 14 week pheno but pretty much the same general smell as all of them. Citronella, fake sweetness, at one point many of them were kinda guava like.

Such beautiful and fat flowers your plant produces! Were you giving some clones a go with trying to reverse some to produce pollen? The smells on the SSDD are kind of hard to describe, from the plants so far I’ve gotten sour milk/yogurt funk, kush funk, sweet berry, and just sweet funk. There has been an aroma that has lingered in general that reminds me of another blooming plant but I can’t put my finger on it.

And yeah @supershitfuck, humans are very adaptable and we just get used to whatever environment we are living in. I’m from Nor Cal and anytime I go back in the winter, I freeze my ass off in the morning even though it’s only slightly colder. Used to rock shorts through the winter back then.
