Bodhi Plant and seed guide (Part 2)

The lemon was there pretty strong in smell and taste, but it wasn’t just lemon. Also some other citrous more toward grapefruit and a little lavender. Both wookie crosses I grew were some of the loudest from bodhi. Other one that stands out for loud was strawberry goji which is amazing but from a unique standpoint I’d say it was closer to a play on an og then unique terpene profile.

Thanks for the review. I think this will be the next strain I run. What should I expect for flower time, stretch, and yield? Got any pics?

I’m afraid i need the SSDD for an independant medical research project. Hunting for nerve-pain qualities.
But before that i got some HolyAngel’s SSDD f2bx1 growing as we speak. I’m excited about what treasure is hidden within.

I have offered a cbd-based pack to Nube to f2 if he goes that direction.

Thank you for the very detailed and thorough DLA 12 report. Sounds fantastic the Lebanese female plant used.

It’s been a while and I don’t have any pics. I remember they were pretty fast, at least a week faster than most other non wookie bodhi stuff. Stretch was average, to maybe a little stretchy but not crazy. Mine weren’t short or slow growers though, pretty vigorous. I think average yield, not super dense, pretty frosty looking.

I’ll never understand how people can screw up blue dream. It’s one of the most consistent, reliable, and easy to grow strains there is. Blue dream was like the bread and butter of the california market until around 2013.

Between poorly handled commercial harvests, diluting the genetics, selling autos as the real thing, and straight up fakes, the name recognition for this strain has been totally destroyed.

it’s really one of the best cuts out there.

I highly encourage people to get bodhi’s blueberry hashplant while it is still available with the recent restock.

I get a lot of that vague bread and pastry baking smell and spice in my lebanese ladrace selection. I got the dla 12 and I think these 2 lines will be very nice breeding tools to create a more refined lebanese.

I made a dank sinatra 78 la affy leaning recessive female x lebanese hybrid that came out very nice. The plants that resemble the dank sinatra mother smell like apples, oily glazed donuts, and jasmine or floral jasmine tea. The more lebanese leaning phenos smell like black tea, green tea, spice, herbs, and vague baking smells.

One of the most potent strains I ever found was a hybrid of Stardawg guava x reversed lemon G. Amazing tropical fruit smell and flavor, and narcotic potency that just blasted away severe pain.

The hybrid was made by archive and named “One Star.” They never released seeds or clones. While they were growing out hundreds of one star seeds to make their clone only selection, they sold all the phenotypes they were growing to the manager at my favorite dispensary.

We tried to get a clone of one of the phenos that they culled, it was lower in thc but had a wealth of CBG, CBN, and THCv, and a little bit of CBD. Archive killed the plant and told us the line was proprietary, and that they made it to win cannabis cups for highest thc content, not to help medical patients.

So fuck them.

@schmarmpit @Mr.greenbee If you are doing any breeding with this lemon G line, I would be happy to send you some bodhi guava hashplant f2 seeds if you want to throw in a few guava hp females and try making a remix version of that one star.

I was hoping to buy bodhi’s lemon g 88g13hp as well as the guava hashplant, to hybridize and make something approximating the One Star. unfortunately I just couldn’t afford both packs at that time, so I went with the guava hashplant which turned out to be a fantastic medical line.

A potential guava hp x lemon hp hybrid would have a lot more g13 than the one star, but I think it could be interesting to hunt through. It could still have that potential for amazing trace cannabinoid production

that’s a way better name for that phenomenon.
A mandala is a circular design with a geometric arrangement of symbolistic imagery radiating outwards from a central point.

I don’t like hearing the term “mandela effect” because it is derived from a racist internet conspiracy. The examples people often used were the idea that Nelson Mandela died in prison, and the idea that the spelling of “The Berenstain Bears” had originally been different.

So that’s basically wishful thinking for apartheid supporters, a way to discredit Mandela’s legacy with the idea that the real man died before he became president and reformed south african politics.
And the other one is just people acting really weird about a very common Ellis Island anglicization of a jewish last name. Now that society is more accepting it’s less common for people in america to use anglicized versions of ethnic names, so that alternate spelling may appear strange to people now.

It has been used to give weight to all kinds of conspiracy theories, but the concept itself is sound.
So here’s my new definition.

Mandala effect- the phenomena of human memory and sociological interaction that causes perceived changes and errors in information as it gets further removed from the original source of the factual information, concept, or idea.

see “the game of telephone”

best of all,
changing the name from “mandela effect” to “mandala effect” is itself an example of this mandala effect phenomenon.

Glad I jumped on that one.

Anyone follow @bodhiguide on IG? It’s amazing to see all those different varieties in one place, I’ve been doom scrolling for like an hour now

I’ll highly consider it. Lemon G is an heirloom strain local to my small town in Ohio. I’m hell bent on getting the cut and holding her tight. It’s chock-full of lesser cannabinoids CBG, CBD, CBN. This can make it feel kind of “weak” compared to high THC strains, but the smoke is truly unique. If I do get her I’ll definitely be making S1 and other crosses. I’ll keep you informed if so.

Interesting! Been planning on doing lemon lotus next for some lemony goodness and make some f2s, might throw in a few stardawg guava x ssdd.

Peace All. I have a question. Any1 have the strain that came out awhile back from Bodhi called Banana Spliff?? (or spitt??). I always wanted to get them but could afford at the time when they were out and I haven’t seen any1 speak about this strain since. Thanks for reading. Be safe… :call_me_hand:t5::v:t5:

I ran a couple of the Butterscotch x ssdd not too long ago. Two different sweet smelling girls and one did have a butterscotch like smell during flower. They were nice but i only kept them for a round or 2.

I grew The Fuzz like 5+ years ago, they were actually started at our old house and moved with us to the new one haha. Here’s the grow report if you’re interested: https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/bodhi-the-fuzz-and-clusterfunk-rare-dankness-tangerine-kush-kos-el-jefe-thai.88412/page-6 I’m pretty sure there’s another grow report of it on icmag, too. Or there used to be, anyway.

It was really, really strong weed, that’s the main thing I remember about it. Pretty much one-hitter-quitter-type shit, which isn’t necessarily my favorite. I remember the cured buds reminded me of Green Crack (I love Green Crack), as far as the smells were concerned, but the high wasn’t anything like Green Crack haha. Also, it did NOT mix well with alcohol at all. And that’s important to me haha… I recall multiple instances of me having a few drinks, smoking a little bit of The Fuzz, getting the spins and having to lay down, which isn’t something that happens often with me. Like, that never happens.

I sent the rest of the seeds to someone here a couple years ago, but I can’t remember who right now. I wonder if they’ve grown them yet…
