Bodhi Plant and seed guide (Part 2)

Not a dumb question at all. I also am curious about the Purple PCK as i smoked some years ago and it was a lovely well-rounded smoke.

Plum, fig newton and and raisin flavors, mildly stimulating but relaxing overall. Perfect day or night. Like a good OG Kush but clearer, less trippy. Not as narcotic as Grand Daddy Purple. For me, a lot like a Chemdawg in effect. Excellent medication.

But i’ve read it can stay small, very indica in structure. Yields can be smaller like a Urkle or Bubba yields. Growing several plants in SOG is encouraged.

If my memory is right, the Purple PCK is used in Bodhi’s Blockhead which is a big part of his classic and cherished Snow Lotus male plant.

And i know it sold out fast at my local dispo.

Popping some seeds for the outdoor season, only plan on growing one female out of each strain, revisiting the Dread Bread after my last go two seasons ago in which the 3 or 4 seeds I popped were all male. I got the F2 from a member online and I am led to believe they are F2’s of Eden Transmission. Excited to see how these all turn out!

@BudWhisperer yeah that sounds like a good daytime smoke for me. It’s also supposed to have good resistance against pest and pm which would be a plus.

Nice! Looks like it’s gonna be a real Dread Bread-y summer for everybody. That Vietnamese x Afghan sounds super-intriguing, too. Are you gonna log everything or just pop in and post pics on this thread? Cuz I wanna follow along if you’re gonna log them.

Seems like everyone is popping Dread Bread now, when did you start yours? I’m excited to see how all three of them turn out. I should start a log but I am not sure what I will do just yet, I’ll for sure be posting progress pictures here but I’ll let you know for sure if I start one.

April 16. But there’s been issues. Everything just kinda stalled out and quit growing like ten days ago. They’re alive; they’re just not growing. This has happened before and usually a compost tea fixes them right up. I finally watered everything with one a couple days ago and it seems like they’ve snapped out of their funk, but I’m not sure if that’s just in my head, being hopeful haha. I think they’ll be alright, though. Still… I’d usually be getting ready to transplant to the half-gallons right about now, but I think I’m probably a week away from that, maybe even more. Kind of annoying haha…

Kinda bummed I missed the boat on Mt. Temple. It was at GLG for a while and kept getting bumped from my cart.

Anytime I find the Appalachia crosses I try to buy them since the breeding male doesn’t exist anymore especially since it was regarded as one of bodhi’s better males.

Gonna try and pollen chuck beyond the brain (mandala seeds Colombian haze/satori) and or raspberry truffle (@santero F2 of Santa Maria x chocolate rain) to the mountain temple

I’ve got like a pack and half. The other half of the pack never popped for me. Every once in a while I go back to try another couple beans from it and they never come out of the soil.

I’ve had the opposite experience. Bodhi’s beans seem to pop easier and without trouble compared to other breeders

I got those packs from Europe so they gotta be old and prob took some abuse getting shipped across the pond. Might try a couple more after smoking some strawberry temple this morning.

Damn that sounds stinky and nice! Let us know with a smoke report I’d like to don’t mind!

It’s @BeagleZ fruity pheno. Very nice head high. Clear minded. Had a buddy mention to me yesterday that it’s nice when you actually get a strain that smells appropriate to it’s name. It smells of fake candy strawberry/fruit. Would probably make some tasty bubble hash

Have you tried soaking the seeds in a little fulvic acid? I never used to soak seeds, always just planted them straight in the ground and that worked pretty well, usually, but I tried it a little while ago with five seeds and everything popped. Tried it again with 22 seeds this last round and everything sprouted, too. I’m not sure if I’ve ever gotten 100% germ rates on that many seeds before. I probably won’t ever not soak again haha.

I just used about a third of a gallon of water and one teaspoon of fulvic, put that in shot glasses on a heating mat and soaked for only twelve hours, seems to work great.
