Lavender Jack fan leaf
@minitiger have you run mountain temple. I have a pack Iāve been waiting to run, figured Iād wait though until I can run my temple of Apollo, original c99, and if I can find me some high and lonsome Appalachia f3 I would be a happy cat.
I also hope its easily found despite the few reports Iāve seen. Speaking on thatā¦
You and me both! While I really enjoy these Appalachia crosses, after growing a few different ones, I feel like the male bodhi used imparts a more airy flower cluster and more of the green crack influence than the chem d. A lot of them seem to come out pretty similar with just different flavors. Wouldnāt mind finding something a little denser and closer to chem d to use.
Happy Friday, folks!
I hear you, but I also wonder if that bolded last sentence is what happens to most lines. Heck, toss in similar flavors too. Lots of people say the same about the HP line or the Wookie line, though my experience has been different with crosses from those daddies, but I personally feel that way about the Snow Lotus line - most plants from SL crosses Iāve grown or smoked have similar terps/effects/growth characteristics.
But I wonder if thatās also kinda the point - exploring possibilities. Popping full packs or more, youāre likely to find at least one outlier thatās more like mom, and now that youāve experienced a few crosses with the same daddy, you know what to look for. And then F2 with a few guys/gals to open the treasure chest.
My only experience with the D so far has been in a dispo setting, so I canāt say with any certainty if D is known as ādenseā bud like a cookies or a heavy indica hashplant strain, but give me about 3mo and Iāll let you know.
Iāve got one of these about 2.5 weeks in flower. Kinda ridiculously slow to veg but filling out nice in flower. Mine is def a narrow leaf, nice Christmas tree shape untopped. Just stretchy enough where Iāve hardly had to remove any leaves. Like maybe 3 fan leaves or something haha. Also pretty minimal smell in veg but thatās def changing.
Yeah this! You know what to look for and there are definitely plants that donāt all smoke the same or have the same effects, thereās just quite a few that do
Also definitely agree with the F2ās. Iāve found that some of these lines that may seem a bit lackluster(overall) in the F1ās, really shine in the F2ās.
Sounds good on the D, I look forward to your report
Yes, thereās going to be terps you never tasted before I bet. Initially there was a brite fruity smell I could not place. That evolved into a heavy almost wine taste early on in the cureā¦I wasnāt crazy about that stageā¦after a month in the jar, that morphed into a fruity/funk thatās different from everything else I have and I really like it. It plays very well in the vape too, big rips!
I got an alert from OG when I posted that link just now that said,āYouāve posted this link several times already, are you sure you wanna post it again?ā Soā¦
But they keep asking!!!
Space Monkey f2s 12/12 from seed,
I can see that. Hmmmmmm.
Yeah, itās almost as if Google and the search bar donāt exist or somethingā¦
What are they!
I have carried Geenpoint Black Gold and Copper Chem from Greenpoint to F3 and the Copper Chem f3s are almost identical to each other. The F3 in both are my faves. Vaping some Copper Chem f3 right now chopped 5/20.
Planted 6 Space Monkey f2 in Red Solos, small tails 36 hours in Viva Sauna.
Planted 4 Devilās Hashplant with nicer tails also.
Sanded beans of both.
do you use the little plastic tube with sand paper in it? the one that comes with GLG orders?
Yes, been using one I made with finer paper. GLG is coarser and quicker.
No matter what the situation is, you are definitely the asshole haha.
@supershitfuck He legit did the same scenario with me and now he is always like, āI miss youā and I am all like, āweird, but I miss you moreā and then it starts this long argument about who actually misses who more and itās just. so. us. Positive vibesā¦
Careful with the D. She is a finicky B. I always keep them well away from all other flowering plants and spray them down every ~1-2 days. Even when I feel like I have her happy, she seems to want to throw stamens. I wish that I didnāt love her so much. I have a cut of her around ~5 weeks post flip right now and she fucking hates me, but she smells like dimethyltryptamine, so I am in love all over again haha. Positive vibesā¦
Oh and Bodhi(ish) kind of on topic, but kind of not on topic stuff; I recently started some of my (Black Triangle F2) x Dog Patch, (Face Off IX) x (Black Triangle F2) and Goji OG x Dog Patch to look through. Fun times. Positive vibesā¦

Hahaha! Yeah, but yāall are the only two people who I said,āCome over to OG.ā And I did it via DM, didnāt make it public, very secret-like. I like to think I have good judgement.
Hahaā¦ Youāre funny. Seriously, that was funny.
I wish I could disagreeā¦
I had some Chem X Unicorn males put aside to collect pollen. They looked normal throughoutā¦ did their thing and grew decent flower-tops. I just noticed that 2 out of 3 of them started popping female hairs in the top clusters. Iāve never really seen that because I generally donāt keep males around to full flower. Still though I have had quite a few over the years and never seen a cluster of female hairs pop out.
The female Chem Uni that I do have does not have male balls popping out (yet, fingers crossed). Iāll keep a close eye on it.
I cut the flowering parts off the femi-males. Didnāt kill them entirely just turned them into veg-stumps. Reason being is I might take them to a remote location and let them grow. Iām curious to watch the few female parts to see if they go to seed ,no shortage of pollen to impregnate themā¦
Not looking to get into hermi genetics of anything, just curious what would come out of a male like that. I had always heard that female plants that herm have a high female seed population ratio (that tend to herm of course) but I was curious what the ratio would be for seeds that grow on these malesā¦would they be mostly male with hermi tendencies? Iām going to try just out of curiosity.
Oh yah I should mention that these male plants were sexed inside and then pt outside in a greenhouse where it was still too cold and they got a small bit of frost burn. They recovered, started flowering then I moved them inside under 1000 watt. This stressful moving around/freezing could have caused some shenanigans.
![9b2f49772c2b9b9481c1a6a385143f7f.0|225x500]Sorry to hear about your struggles. Is this a bodhi seeds strain youāre talking about? And, if so, whatās the actual cross? Chem x Unicorn is a confusing name (itās not the full cross) and I think itās wise that people know exactly what strain youāre talking about. I searched your post history and couldnāt find any other mention of āUnicorn.ā
As for the outcome of using herm pollen, I think itās always likely to result in herm-prone seeds. I wouldnāt do it unless you had no other choice and had to preserve the strain.
