I can’t lay claim to the sandwich bag tech, I actually first heard it on Mass medical strains IG, though I suspect he probably heard it elsewhere before relaying it. Seems like something a crafty old head figured out for himself that’s since been appropriated by the masses. But if my half assed attempts proved fruitful I’m sure anyone can do the same and probably more methods are successful as well. Get weird and tell us how it works!!

on that note, i finally confirmed the sex of all the PK x UHP plants. PK x UHP numbers 1, 3 and 3.5 (the twin seed that i successfully extracted into its own cup) are all females, and we have one lone male in PK x UHP number 2. The name of the game here lately has been “cloning” im currently rooting clones of everything thats in the veg tent. this includes backup/replacement clones of all the GM plants, as well as all of the PK x UHP’s and the one female NL5 x PPP plant from @JohnnyPotseed basically trying to replace the GM moms that started overgrowing their 1 gal pots, and then hold a copy of everything else as well, all started from the same point basically. Being that i havent seen the PK x UHP anywhere since looking around, ive left the copy of the #2 under 12/12 with the intention of collecting some pollen and hitting a branch of the #1 outside when it starts to flower, just to get a freash stash of seeds to hold onto. Unfortunately, however, this morning i noticed a single pistil growing from out of one of the lower nodes on him. i’ve cracked the tent too early a couple times in the morning trying to check on him in the past couple weeks, so theres a part of me that thinks it might be due to light leaks. regardless, i plan to keep an eye on him to see if he goes full blown herm or not. regardless, i will probably still collect his pollen since he is the only male out of the few seeds i have of this variety. not ideal, but at least it would give me stock to look through for more stable expressions in the event that i really dig this herb when its finished. beyond that theres not much to update. ive been debating as to whether or not i should just change the name of this thread to cover my outdoor run for this season, or start a new thread. i like the idea of this one staying specific to the Good Medicine work i did/am doing. but truthfully i wouldn’t want to step on nube’s toes, especially since his GM work is much better than mine, and should probably remain the go-to thread regarding the Good Medicine, but i could see merit in either approach. maybe ill figure out how to set up a poll and let folks vote here on what they think i should do. anyway, thats it for this weird, rambling photo-less update. love you all out there.

How early have you been opening the tent? If it’s just a minute or two, I don’t think it should make much of a difference. But if it’s like fifteen minutes, yeah, that might induce herms.
It’s probably too late for you to change the name. I tried to do that with my last grow log, after I realized I put “Ancient OG x DE” in the title, when what I was really growing was Ancient OG x AfPak, but it was too late. Maybe a mod could do it for you, but I like starting new logs for every grow. Makes it easier for people who aren’t members of OG to find the info they may be looking for.
And tag me if you do start a new log. I love watching outdoor grows.

I’ve seen mention of that Pure Kush cut being finicky, but I don’t worry too much about stuff like that (if it’s minor) as long as you’re not planning to sell or trade them. I would collect the pollen, try a few of the resulting seeds and see how they do for you. They’re unlikely to be terrible. 
Just give provenance, Fgen, and cite issues up front if you’re going to give/trade them to people.
Hey man, no concerns from my end. You couldn’t possibly step on my toes. Do what speaks to you! I think part of how we find crosses that work for us is by trying out combinations and seeing what we like. Go for it! As for the thread name change, ask a mod if you want to go that route, but seems like it’s worked OK so far!

I had to Google what “sweatpant shorts” were. I’ve seen those around. They’re gross haha, but they do look comfortable. Strictly for wearing in the privacy of your own home, though, I think. I wouldn’t go out in public in those, anyway haha!
