They consumed those seed like tic tacs.I could have probably sprayed it with Dr Zymes and treated them but all that damage they would spend more time trying to repair tha damage.Ill try again
Has anyone run Mendo20/20 pre-98 S1? I have a pack I will get to eventually. Also, Mosca Seeds OTM/Pre-98? It sounded good so I jumped on it.
Both have gotta be good representations I’d imagine. Great companies each in their own right. I contemplated the 20/20 ones for years. I have a pack of dinafems too which I’ve been told are legit as well I should pop just to explore one day soon. Be cool to pop like 2/3 of a bunch of companies versions etc. see what’s what for real @DainIronFoot
Does anyone have any bubba kush cuts?
I’m not sure if I should start a new post ? Or just continue on this one?
I have a lot of questions as well pertaining to Bubba Kush
The only history I could find with cuts. Can someone speak to it’s validity ?
I’ve got the pre98 bubba fem seeds last week…should have just added Larry OG and SFV OG to my order too. Next time, I suppose.
Will be flooding overgrow with (cali connection) pre98bubba fem seeds early in 2024!!
Mosca breeds some stout heavy yielding plants. I’d be excited about those too.
Oh man! I didn’t realize they still sell Larry too! Awesome
Thanks to all for the recommendations … yes the Pre98 bubba selfs very well… wish i could take some breeding credit but i just reversed it and made S1s - not an easy plant to reverse.
here are a couple shots of one of my Bubba S1s grown by @elanius

So which bubba cut or seed has the coffee and nag champa smell? It’s unmistakable in the smell department. The taste was quite similar as well, buds were all pinecone too with purp throughout. I bought it several times in the early 2000s, but never saw it again. It looked like an afghan tbh, then green bubba kush came around, and was not even half as good. It was being sold as bubba kush…that’s all I know. Any ideas where I could get some seed?
It’s almost like gdp, purple indica, etc…just disappeared never to be seen again. I don’t know maybe I’m just crazy but all the bubba I’ve tried is not the same. I
Pre-98 in my opinion 100% and @VerdantGreen seems to be the general consensus, that or CSI Humboldt for sure. If you are in the states the cut is also pretty easily found. One of my all time favs!
But isn’t the pre 98 green in color? Maybe what I remember wasn’t bubba kush I guess. It just always had alot of purple, but not that fake grapey crap like most purps.
In my experience the pre-98 purples up nice. No grape, funk, chocolate, coffee
These were from seed, disregard top pic
Usually pre98 turns purple or the leaves get a purple stripe at least. Sometimes they go a dark brown colour.
Pre98 has the coffee/mocha smell and to a lesser extent the incense smell.

I’m not even 3 weeks into flower on the matt berger cut, pre98/pre93 bubba kush or whatever, and the chocolate smell is real!
Okay very nice that pre 98 looks awesome. For some reason I thought it was green. Very pretty plant topshelf!
Chocolate Hershey bar or the chocolate smell that brown tape from the early 90’s had?
What you mean by pods rasterman ?
Chocolate like a nice ganache or something. Cocoa-y. Not so much chocolate bar chocolate (yet). Definitely not like the tape
I’ve had a bunch of the Berger/Orgnkid Green Bubba Kush in tubs since harvest (6/30/23) just waiting to be trimmed. Every time I open a tub it smells like dark chocolate, and then later the room smells strongly of coffee.
Tastes like a sweet kush should, and has relaxing but not overpowering effects for me. My buddy said it’s spot on what he remembers Bubba Kush like in the early 2000s in Denver.
This was it about a week before chop.
And here she was in veg on the right, 30days after transplant from clone, in a City Picker, dwarfing Irene on the left. This Bubba’s very vigorous, not super slow like claimed.
Very leafy, stretches a small amount at most, and looks done at the end of week 7. Should probably take it no longer than 9wks from flip, as it doesn’t swell or get stronger smelling/tasting after that. It’s tough to trim because it’s so leafy and really holds onto its leaves, hence why I have tubs of it still waiting to get trimmed.
