Works fine. I just maximize surface area and put a wicking material underneath like cardboard.

Curious what is the most trim by weight anyone has dared to jam in one 5 gallon run. I’m seeing how tedious the process is. I shoulda got that 32 gallon trash can set.:thinking:

I just can’t stress it enough, throw the collection in that 25 micron drying screen, wrap it into a ball and squeeze the fuck out of it and watch the water drip out. I’ve done hash pulls In the morning that I was smoking that night or the next morning

Amazing! Instructions said 1/2 lb max. But all my dials go to 11 here.

It really depends on the varietal, some lines have bigger trichome heads than others and you’ll have to test em to figure which bag has the best hash for any given strain

that said, most people seem to find their gold in the 45-90 range but you can get good product up to 120

edit: even though the 25 is usually relegated to the food grade tier, some people have reported their 25u bag having the best product out of their set. It really depends on the varietal

Here’s how to tell when it’s been drying in the freezer long enough. See how the hash on the left has dark spots? That’s moisture. See how the one on the right is all the same no dark spots? It’s ready to go. The hash takes longer to dry, the more moisture is in it. No big shock there. When I can take a dab with no sizzle, or hit it with the spoon and it crumbles to dust it’s dry enough. It will infest your freezer with hash stink not the opposite. When I open the hash freezer, it’s a pleasant breeze of fruit and axle grease.

I use fresh frozen buds, that’s how it becomes “live extract”, as they call it.

Lol for me half the goal is just not letting it sit and degrade further and gain the freezer space back.
