Thanks ideally would have been great if i had 3x plants the size of this in smaller pots to completely fill a canopy but il take what i can get from this one its a been a good experience!
looking good!
looks killer shoots for dayz
I raised the lights to max height now in the 4ft 2x2 to give it some stretch. I think some of my issues have been lighting and size mainly because overall shes a lovely green colour with healthy growth. I think ive had the lights a tad to close for my liking during the past 7 weeks which has resulted in a short but wide plant! still nice but i wanted stretch for efficiency and training ( might have saved having to remove fan leaves every now and again for light penetration and reduced the veg time, oh well if i flip in 1-2 even 3 weeks from now its no problem I’ve learned so much in the first grow…

Hi Bud:
Are all of those leaves coming from branches on one central stalk?
Don’t worry about it being short and fluffy especially if it’s higher indica than sativa… I am noticing that the sativas seem to get tall and lanky while the Indicas seem to stay lower and bushier. Don’t know why.
Hey again!
here she is tonight i took a photo for you to see the main stem…
So I topped it going back about 3-4 weeks ago only once! She is ridiculously short! but beautiufully bushy and wide… ( probably good for when i flip to flower in the next 2-3 weeks… as my tent is only 4ft high and 2ft square wide…
Im sure it could be one of these plants that just bushes wider and wider then the big move will probably happen come bloom!
here are the photos just after the lights went out. Thanks BM
The Bush is back in a Big Way!!!
certainly is! looking forward to the last 2 weeks of veg… trying to give her that last boost a little prune up near the end then the scrog net is coming out!
You Got It Man!!!
in terms of outdoor growth my green house one is an absolute beast!! and im going to be completely honest I have literally left that thing in the greenhouse environment for 2-3 days without water even in coco / coir… Il upload pics later… lol! it could reach crazy heights for sure.
Looks like you’re getting a hang of that LITFA thing.
Certainly am man!
I literally pulled down all 4 compass points over 24-36 hrs i now have 20 active shoots… loving it!
here she is today excuse blue lighting and also my outdoor one is showing lovely maternal instincts i heard she wants to start a family…
Such a beauty… This might not be a big deal to most but for me a great first ever plant!
8 weeks old tomorrow! 15 nice even shoots easy to scrog during flower…
The question is… do I flip after week 8 of veg!!
If i do decide to flip to flower does any veterans have any tips for me and this plant before I do flip it… good techniques / defoliation etc etc… any info welcome!
Thank you

hmm… personally I feel she is too small to put in and I would let her - at a minumum - double in size first. My logic is that if she takes 10 weeks to flower you will probably be happier with a larger harvest than the half oz she might put out at this small size.
Appreciate the input so shes 8 weeks now… She is not showing the slightest sign of stretch… lights are max height… flowering for 10 weeks is fine!
but what about veg now? did you mean veg until 10 weeks then flower?
Thank you again for the help
BM
Coming to think of it perhaps if i stopped the FIMING etc and just let it be for a solid 2-3 more weeks il get some good solid growth and height which might allow a Scrog for 1 week before flower… would you agree on that? maybe aim for a 10-11 week veg and 8-10 week flower!
Ultimately it is up to you but if you can wait 2 or more weeks before switching this plant in to flower mode, I would suggest it. With such a small amount of stretching as we’ve seen from your posts, your plant may not stretch much at all in bloom and therefore may not yield very much if you put it in now.
Yeah im totally understanding what you’re saying now! agreed… i did one Topping and one FIM sesh… with lots of LST…
lets leave her alone for 2 weeks let her be right @ReikoX then i could even scrog her a bit with the stretch she does get before the flower…
Lets get this Shaman in the 4 Gallon maximised!!
Thanks

Your little plant looks fantastic but I would definitely let them grow out a bit without fimming any more. You would probably get more stretch with a little lighter nutrient mix if you wanted to experiment with steering the crop a bit but the plants look fantastic and even if you put them in right now I am sure you will have an exciting grow and harvest! I just feel that you will be happier in the end if you get a nice sized harvest… I would personally want more than just a few small buds after dedicating all this time and effort.
I really appreciate this… sounds like solid advise. I have worked hard for 1 plant and therefore couldn’t agree more with everything your saying…
This is exactly why I did an outdoor plant and indoor… I completely LITFA outdoors with hardly any nutes just on and off and its 3x the height and 3x thicker in stem structure… everything is starting to become clear to me… I love making mistakes and which in return gives me more knowledge on everything…
This all sounds great to me! il check back later with some updates…
Thanks again @herojuana.tom
