Hello everyone, been away for a while!

running my first set of autos! they had an amazing start, however im noticing a little wilting and a possible problem… couple of very light spots and darkness in the new / big fan leaves…

what do you all think? am i overthinking? ive got my SP3000 on 25% only should i increase light?

Thanks

Hope everyone here is well!

These Autos are absolute beasts, they just keep charging and charging, hopefully its nearly the end of stretch phase… Im happy with my defoliation and the nutrient line up is the Canna series

canna A & B
Rhyzotonic
Cannazym
Cannaboost
Pk13/14

its the first time using this line up!!

I’ve noticed with my last grows that some of the main cola bud was satisfactory but I just feel like something was missing my mates would say the high is ok smell ok, looks good but the buds are not like pebbles or rock hard like we get from top shelf places…

What would that be? do you think it was because I was only using your base nutrients in all of my last grows?

i hope i see a difference with these gorilla cookie autos and the canna line up!

Would love some advice. Thanks BM

3 thing I can thing of that will give you rock hard buds. Genetics, outdoor grow, and nasty PGRs.
Don’t waste money on expensive nutrients. Its a gimic.

Appreciate the reply I kind of thought this myself, defiantly genetics and i said to my pal, that if buds are rock hard its most likely been cured with additives would i be right in saying that?

Maybe grown with additives(PGRs). But no, not “cured” with them.

love learning about these facts so you can teach these ‘‘yes men’’ a lesson or two!

I’m sure there are beautiufl strains that make nice chunky dense nugs but it makes sense everything you’ve said!

thanks. BM

Hi, I happened to see in your profile that you put Shaman as one of your favorite strains.

Have you grown it anytime recently?

that was one of the strains I learned to grow with, from an old fgen or ibl seed line version held by a medical collective in san francisco.

here’s a photo of it in one of my first outdoor grows. It made a single giant cola about 4 and a half feet long, and as thick as a regulation football.

Smelled exactly like lemon skittles. One of the the highest yielding plants I have ever encountered, but very susceptible to bud rot. another pheno smelled like sweet basil.

There was also a clone of it that was passed around in the collectives, it was branchy and had a sweet herbal smell.

I’m curious if you still grow shaman. Do you have a seed line? do you grow the version from sensi seeds?

I’ve never known if what I grew actually resembles the shaman sold by sensi seeds. because it was an old selected line grown in the bay area for years, it could have been completely different.

wow thats a beast! my shaman was from dutch passion beautiful plant but i missed some nanners and it kind fo ruined the quality :frowning: was a great strain to learn with!

I am currently growing gorilla cookies from fast buds they are absolutely ridiculous they are growing past the light!! im hoping and praying stretch is going to end soon!! These will be about 5.5ft :open_mouth: crazy for autos!! what do you guys think? I might be able to DIY the light right to the top of the tent!

happy with them.

A little update on these gorilla cookie autos. They were all bedded at the same time the one on the right charged to the top from the get go and is ready 2 weeks earlier than the other 2 on the left side of it…

Incredible strain… They have exceeded the light level unfortunately, I’m sure I will get a good yield not sure how the bud will turn out above light level!! Any ideas? its a first for me… lol!

thanks BM

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well…

Its been a little over a year since i started my Journey / hobby with growing. I have come across many different issues, of course - this is just part of the process and learning how to grow!

What I do get frustrated about sometimes is, not knowing what is going on so hopefully you may be able to help with some newer issues i’m having.

I have 3 Autoflowers at the moment they are on week 8 since I planted them. 2 were of the same strain and 1 was different. I just don’t understand why when i visit my pals set up his plants look absolutely 5 Star heatlhy the perfect green leafs and all plants are similar… He seems to get no issues and we started this hobby exactly the same time… with same experience… ( is he having beginners luck? )

Something must be off in my environment… could it possibly be too cold?

for the life of me I cannot get this tent past 21c with lights on 24 hours and a fan going. ( Last summer in UK i struggled to keep temps down and its seems the grows were better in high heat.

I always check my PH level around 5.9 - 6.0

one of the plants i’m happy with on the left but the other 2 are really not on the same wave length… one in middle is really late flowering whilst the other gets really really droopy around the same time every night… They all had identical waterings and mediums planted the exact same time…

Its really bothering me when every time i go to his set up it seems way too hot way too much light but they look amazing!

I have read so many different things with my light ( SP3000 some saying 50% will get me better yields and not put strain on the plants… but then when i see my friends its full blast all the time.

All I know is when i do find my technique I won’t be changing it because its a tough journey so far trying to get the results i’m satisfied with. here are some pics anyway!!

Crank the light up, temps will go up. That one with real droopy leaves looks over watered. Raising light intensity and temps would help.

I don’t grow autos so this is what I would do for photos. I would get those temps up 8-10degrees(f), others run their leds in the low 80s(f).
