Budmeisters Grow Box Diaries

Yes, I like topping my plants as well. I feel that at the size I growing, untopped plants waste space. Only with huge outdoor plant would I not top at the 2nd or 3rd node. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you.

If possible, now is a good time to give the plant as much light as you can.
Raise the plant or lower the light.
If you do this there is a better chance of all/most of the tops becoming dominate.

The reverse is, little or minimal light, will cause 1 branch to bolt/grow tall and you will be back to 1 big top.

Good luck and have fun!

it most certainly is Il take a little photo of her first night of recovery and will also get a good side view to show you guys whats going on…

I may lower the light a couple inches accordingly next week to give all them side branches and 2 new main tops even space to compete for so they are all level…

I think ive got this guys thanks for checking in on the journey so far!

So here she is tonight!!

Look at that quadruple solar panel she has at the top to zap all that light to the 3 nodes below… :stuck_out_tongue:

I think shes looking ready for action over the next week hopefully the start of some good sites for growth and bushyness!!

what do you all think?

thanks BM

All of these but the dozido clone are from seed. I FIM’d the very first topping indoors at around the 5-6th node. @Gizmo Then selectively topped shoots that grew taller than the others. I lost two to Herme in July. We got one day “correction” 111* temp in June. A lot of herme’s in July last year around here.
Mac far corner
outside close corner to fence Shiskaberry I burnt when it was a baby with LEDs :frowning:
inside corner was Gorrilla Zkittles Herm’d :frowning:

looking good-- The only issues with topping and fimming, ect , is that one has to increase veg time from 1-2 weeks or more considering on the amount of fimming, ect
