Yeah the goal is for me to make enough to give some away and never have to buy any again I love the idea of a short season plant
Yea me too. I give a lot away also. They are just kinda fun to run. I really donāt have much experience with them. Guess Iām just old school and itās taken me a while to get on board. @misterbee turned me on to some seed and I enjoyed running the Lemon Skunk. Iāll never give up my photos but you can produce some medicine pretty fast and easy with the autos. I do like the process and outcome of working with a good mother plant tho
You should be alright with the pumpā¦I used one to drain a 250 gallon fuel take into 55 gal barrels. Itās still going strong. Just unhook it when it feels like itās getting ātoo warmā. If unsure, get the $60ish one.
I got some family central Illinois area highland and Mont Olive
yea that an idea i must check into thank for the tip
Iām over on the other side of the state. Just south of the prairie. In the hills and hollers of southern Illinoisā¦lol. Not anywhere near Chicago or Springfieldā¦just sayingā¦i wish there was another state at the end of my address but Iām pretty rooted in here.
Itās all the wrong side of the river to me
i use a sprayed i got from a farm and ranch store that fits on my 4 wheler hook to battery to spray chemical on fence row on my cattle farm to kill black berry bushes and grass weeds in my yard i reckon i could get a new 1 just for water it will pump the water where i want it i got spare parts for 1 all ready
Thatās all I can think of
@Bullskinner I think the 3 of us are all within like 2-3 hours of each other, Iām around Springfield IL
Youāre plants looking great, glad that frost we had the other day didnāt hurt ya at all ^^
I need to get up that way when this lockdown is over and do a little testing for the state. They make you have a license to do everything now a days
Iāve got a 20 gallon one for my 4 wheeler and have used it for that very purpose. It is a little slow but works. I am needing more reach, I donāt want trails anywhere near my plants. Way to many coon hunters and trespassers around here that follow those easy walking trails. I want to be able to pump out of a creek or put a 100 gallon tank in the side by side full of nutes and give them a good shot a couple times a month. The tank on the 4 wheeler will work great for you if you donāt have a lot. It would be a helluva lot easier than packing buckets. Iām getting a little to old for that old school way.
Quick question, do you all think you would be ok to run soaker hose with the 12 volt pumps? That might be the ticket mid summer
Great disc golf in Springfield IL
Me and my brother go a couple times a summer to places within 3 hours of STL to play
He regularly comes through that way though my sister in law is from Peoria
Here is a picture of a Sour Strawberry I didnāt post from the other day20200514_104118|375x500
I guess it depends on the pressure of the pump. Those are designed for house water which is like 50psiā¦I donāt know how youād translate that to pumpspeak lol.
What would the water source be? If itās a pond or something you could run a pump on a timer and just flood them on a schedule.
I was just thinking about running it for a while as needed. My source would be a pretty large creek with deep holes or a tank on the sxs. Most of my plants are just 3-4 to a spot and I was just thinking if I could run a soaker hose it would do a lot better job then a hose and sprayer. I will apply fertilizers by hand and am just needing an easier way than buckets when it gets real dry this summer. I was really wondering if the pump would take the back pressure that a soaker hose would create?
@Pedro_Bann had a pump rigged to a creek in his guerilla grow. He even used a small solar panel and battery to power it. You might give him a shout. Itās all in his thread at the start of the grow. peace
Thanks @GMan I will look that up here in just a little bit. I think I read some of that one night and was going to read more and couldnāt remember where. Thanks Brother
@Pedro_Bann Iāll have to holler back at you later, Iām out doing some planting and checking on plants. Here is a BOG Sour Blutooth and a Bodhi Herrer Hashplant looking grand
