Bullskinners Redemption 2021: Journal of a Poor Dirt Farmer

I have tried that before without much luck, but at the time I didn’t have any system down so I can’t really say. I use to have good success with nothing… straight in the dirt but they must be kept warm and humid. I use clear cups when cloning in dirt, so I can see the roots instead of feeling to see if it has rooted. If I don’t have a dome I punch a couple holes in the bottom of a cup and flip it upside down for a dome.
I also cut on a 45° right under 2 nodes and split the stalk about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch up.
The areo cloner is simple as can be and my first choice every time tho, as soon as I see roots, in the dirt they go…I am a dirt farmer ya know

If you’re up on Hydro @Bullskinner I could really use your eyes on my problem. She’s at my building you know the one. If you’re in town and have a minute call me and take a look.

Dude I am really lost at that stage of hydro but I will try to get with you tomorrow…I’m got plans this afternoon. I might be able to see what your plants are telling us. I’ll do my best to get in there and see if I can help

Thanks bro, I’m completely lost. First time I’ve tried it. Might be the last. Dirt is so much easier.

If it looks really worth it, you can always try to re veg. We did that this last round ln one where clones wouldn’t take. Im getting ready to try on her again and see if I’m really getting better.

It’s only been eight days, I want to to get them done by July then pick the best strain and grow a mother of the fastest finishing. What’s the flower time on that Mowie x Cherry bomb? I’ve got it a Raspberry beret, Cherry Dragon, Hopscotch and Kraken in doors everything except Hop is 8-9 weeks

Some pics of the JOTI Gods Grand Double Purple. They are about ready for transplant. I’m moving them outside today. It’s partly cloudy with rain coming in so it’s a good day to go outside. I’m going to pick a couple hopefully females and run them indoors with the Gods Mac

It’s my first time growing it but I have heard nothing but good things about it. It is a 55-60 day indica. I’ve really got high hopes for this strain, I will be taking clones and probably saving my best male and do a little chucking

If you do get a male and make seed keep me in mind please . I’d be game to run a few of those .

A couple shots of the Gods Mac. She is getting big, that’s a 5 gallon pot she’s in

I finally got around to tying it down to get some light where I needed it. It is now shooting up more tops. I’m going to let them stretch a little then flip this thing

A Bodhi GG4 X SSDD.

If you are wondering what all the sticks are…I call them guide sticks, it’s an old trapper thing, only now I’m trying to direct the animals, mainly deer into walking around my plants instead of over them. My cages serve that purpose also and help keep the rabbits from eating them

Man, they are all looking great. Outside is the bomb. I’m still slow to get any going outside. We’re still getting cool weather and lots of thunderstorms that always bring a little hail this time of year. I have some in flower that I take out and in to save electricity. I had about 6 volunteers pop up all over the yard and yesterday they all took a small beating from the hail. I’m trying to let a few of them grow on their own but getting past the hail is dicey. Happy growing! peace

Hey Bullskinner. Awesome garden. It’s awesome seeing some outdoor growing. I hope to some day have the space/privacy to be able to do so as well.

Nice use of the sticks to try to deter the wild life. It is wild the amount of variables nature can throw at you. Can’t wait to see how the plants turn out.

:beers:

Those are some real nice plants for this time of year @Bullskinner! It’s always nice to see plants take right off after transplant. Great job!
