Big mark fan here also, the people’s grower.

I tried to grow his OG18 but the 2 seeds I popped damped off (probably my fault). I still have a few more, will probably run them later.

I did complete a grow of his LA Confidential and it was great. It’s not really my style of smoke, so I wasn’t super into the end product, but both plants were very consistent to each other, they both went a crazy dark purple, and had a lot of resin.

I have some pics of when I harvested them here, with other subpar pics above that of their growth

I got some of his OG Cake, smallest seeds I’ve ever seen for cannabis. Trying to run them now.

I was also curious about the lineage, so I asked him.

He said,
"Hi, my buddy Danny put that together using OG Kush on Wedding cake!

for the price I will give them a roll :slight_smile:

kinda my Judas beans had a bad streak last fall killing beans by the PO Box full

figure better to kill some cheap beans first :wink:

Best way to not kill seeds is to not overwater (or let them dry out). Try pre moistening the soil mix before putting it in the containers. Pick up a handful and squeeze. You should have it moist enough to form a ball and not fall apart, but dry enough so barely any water drips when you give it a firm squeeze. Then fill the containers. Put a bit in at a time and just lightly level it out, don’t pack it. Maybe tap the container against the table to make sure air pockets are filled. Once filled, pick it up as if there’s a plant in it and you just lifting it off the shelf or table, take note of that weight you feel. It shouldn’t be much heavier than that, but not significantly lighter. The top of the soil can and should dry a little bit, but not past the first knuckle or so when you poke you’re finger into the dirt.

Care to elaborate? I mean I certainly understand if it was racy or gave you munchies and you are trying to lose. :slight_smile: Blue dream is one I had a fill of quickly;. everyone is a bit different.

I hear you :slight_smile: I had more problems than overwatering

the only thing that saved my plants was getting them out of my grow

room :slight_smile:

between the mites I was gifted and what have you I was going to clean it at

at one point with five gallons of unleaded and a zippo

moved my plants outside and they all lived

so just kinda goofy with the killing thing and whatever with Mark

he trying to maybe do folks a good turn so I threw a couple bucks

the real growing for me will be with these I have a 150 to weed thru

we will at the cost of .50 cent a beans not going to break my heart at all

but rest assured I will cull shit fast

right now I only have 8 foot by 16 foot to grow in with any luck in the next

month I can add another 8 foot by 16 foot

but spring is five months away and I will room out of room at some point

I hope you find some keepers in them. I only had one girl of the Afghan 1 and my timer quit on me in veg so the stress probably didnt help. I had 2 white label master kush grow balls this round too.

I did reach out to Mark and I did send him a link to here

as some of us have questions about the work in the beans we bought

I did not hear anything I was going just call his phone but

someone has said he will talk and talk

which means nothing to me

if I want to talk with folks about the weed and growing I come here to this community

back at the old OG Mr. Nice sent me a northern lights pure indica

well I have to tell you it had the thinnest leaves for indica

asked Howard in a PM are sure it is all indica I have no room to grow a

sativa he assured me it was

flipped the lights in an 8 foot room and had to bend as it got all of 14 foot tall

and at 23 weeks was far from done :frowning:

so it can be some what of a seedy business

buy 100 of almost anything and pick the best out

you will do pretty good

at 10 dollars a beans I am not buying 100 :frowning:

To me it was just “strong”, and not a whole lot else. Its terpene profile didn’t really leave a deep impression on me, so I don’t think I’d be to interested to run it again. I actually crossed it to bodhi’s cherry queen and I would be interested to try that out!

I’m kinda surprised he doesn’t have northern lights, white widow, big bud, or a few other classics.
@Tappy did you end up getting some seeds from him? Would be interested to see his gear compared to JOTI, I’m wondering if he much of his original stock through them.
