if enough phone calls come in complaining, then it will stay. they measure the chances of re-election by things like this. now is the time to get focused energy. where is @shag when he is most needed?
industrial hemp is federally legalâŚand looks and smells a lot like cannabis.
Sending positive vibes Ohios way
Looks like they are feeling the pressure from the public. Now they are proposing 6 plants per household (from 12 if 2 adults present).
Thatâs what it was in the referendum (I think).
The way it was worded on stream was as if it was reduced from 6 per adult - 12 per household (2+ adults) to 6 per household, period. Not sure if thatâs accurate or not though and itâs not even clear they have the support for HB 86.
Regardless, home-grow is here to stay at least!
Good luck Ohio!
Oops, I misread your post. Right you are thenâŚ
Still sucks
Itâs out of committee and the number of plants per household are cut in half. They hate homegrowing.
If it does pass the Senate it may have a tough road to hoe in the House. The representatives there are closer to the people and are more reluctant to gut things. Weâll see, but in three hours 12 plants per household will be legal for 2 adults.

They removed gifting as well. If you as much as share your Cannabis with anyone it is considered a sale now.
Lines 1584-1585 of the revised language of HB86 states: (B) No person shall give, sell, or transfer homegrown marijuana to any other person, with or without remuneration.
Every last one of the bastards that votes for this crap needs to lose their next election. If you share a joint with somebody it is considered an illegal sale under that verbiage.
Has anyone mentioned that if you grow hemp you are not allowed to grow cannabis.
They simply CANNOT stand a plant that has been cultivated as long as humans have been cultivating modern plants.
The Senate approved the monstrosity that will criminalize gifting cannabis and treating it as an illegal sale even if nothing is given in return for the cannabis, essentially making it a jailable offense to share a joint with somebody. They are acting as if it is a forgone conclusion the House will also pass it, making the ârecreational marijuanaâ law in Ohio a shell of what was passed by the people:

Here gifting is legal without renumeration ,yet there is still a charge of intent to gift. Go figure. We have no sales allowed .
Well, the House decided to kick the can down the road and adjourned without taking up the bill, so right now 6 plants or 12 plants with two adults in household and you can legally gift up to 2.5 ounces:
Imagine that, politicians kicking the can down the road
