I have 40 mini meters, 2 WIFI $$ ones, and ONE $100 meter. Lay the 40 , the 2 wifi, the high dollar one on my table. Any meter more than 1 unit different , i chunk it. WIFI’s can be adjusted, and are to the $$$ meter, which also reads same as my A/C wifi unit. From 40 i have 19 left, and they have stayed stable for a year. I replaced all the batteries recently .

1 wifi, 3 mini’s , calibrated to my $$$ one, stay in Cannatrol now. Right now, ALL 5 , which includes Cannatrols one, read within 1 % , 4 the exact same. 58 %

When left at default, they read 55 % Cannatrol unit says 56 but falls to 55 every few minutes, so it’s hovering between 55 and 56 % which im my book, is too damn low

Appears, so far, unit actually can be adsjusted and DOES change it’s inviroment to my suiting. IF SO, ALL IS GOOD

I can’t wait to get one of these damn things, appreciate you and others being so descriptive about the experience.

Thank for the detailed reply. I think I just might try that the first time and go from there. Sounds like you have perfected it out are definitely on the way to doing so.

Can you clarify a couple things?
Is the machine accurate? What number was the machine set to, and what was the real RH as registered by your high dollar RH gauge?

.

I have two Cool Cures and after curing the temp and dew point are the same for both cc’s.

They may or may not be accurate but they are consistent.

I know this has been answered most likely so forgive me if it’s somewhere. But using phone due to computer being down and hard to read everything.

Question is do people use the cure to dry then put dried buds into grove bags and put grove bags in fridge so the cure can be used again for dry ? I have a couple plants coming down.

The Cool Cure cycle dries then cures, no need to remove anything. Recommendation in the manual is to use open paper bags if you want to use the unit to store (post dry and cure).

Thanks for fast response but the problem is running out of room in the unit. Have multiple plants coming down and trying to stagger the dry every 4-5 days. Was curious if grove bags in fridge has been done before or if its bad idea and just do grove bags in room temp air to cure.

To do it right , 8 day stagger like i do . Really only 7 as i hang for one day before going into unit .
After 8 days Groves at temps under 70 if you can .

Set your cure and hold DP to 52.9

Thank me later

Oh, duh, fridge… sorry… misinterpreted your post (wife called while I was responding)

I ran into the same problem earlier in the fall and went from unit to sealed bin without any issue as far as I can tell. I did some after 4 days but I think 5 might be better (4 of dry 1 of cure).

You don’t wanna put any bud in the fridge if you put it in the fridge in grow bags it’s just gonna sweat and make a mess the humidity is way too high

Got it. Thanks for info

What about a wine cooler or humidor thing? I’ve seen those bud cure coolers and maybe that’s why I got confused about the fridge

My cannatrol dew point wont go above 52.6 even with a wet sponge in there

You’re still on the cycle. I haven’t looked into the actual ramping, but mine does the exact same thing. It goes into the 57-58RH zone for awhile, then in the end it brings it back to 60-61RH.

I talked a lot of shit about them, but I’m gonna have to buy one in the next few months since I don’t have the space to setup a dry tent and control the environment. Could I probably build something that works like it? Yeah but after buying tools and materials and and accounting for time it’d probably cost about the same. Now I just gotta try and save 500/mo for the next 4 months. :man_facepalming:

Bro… not to be or seem rude… but everyone tried that… and failed… I doubt you could build 1 and keep electric down to a dull roar … I got taunted by a lot of people when I first brought this machine up at overgrow… now with a humble attitude…i smile and watch … because 1 by 1… as people can afford it… will get it. Good luck saving I hope it’s easy for ya @EugeneDebs420

I believe it, again even if I did try after buying tools(got none rn) and equipment I’d probably be out around the same cost. The home builds I’ve looked at leave out mention of the final product so I’m guessing results were subpar.

It’s my opinion that you’d spend way more… I say this from jetdros attempt… he gave it the good Ol’ college try man for sure
