Yes, You are correct and so it can take a while to kill off everything. I think it’s best when mixed in the soil and top dressed as a preventive. JMO
We’ve had them a couple times years ago and soaked mosquito dunks in water over night and watered our plants, let dry a bit and then sprinkled the DE on top and just rubbed into the soil. I believe it only took a few days, but that was years ago.

I’ll say that I too have had great success with DE, and always have a bag around the house for critters, both in the tent, and out! It also adds a small amount of Silica to the soil :bear::+1:

Yeah brother, we used Hydro Peroxide in Hydro but in organic soil if it kills bad bacteria, it can kill.good ones as well. So don’t know, but I think you’ll have to reintroduce more.

I did a lot of research on BTI before using it.
But, I also agree with others. Diatomaceous earth is another great product, but must be dry. And H2O2 is good, but can kill good microbial life in your soil aswell. :+1:

Ived used on mushroom grows with success it’s natural and poisons the larva so takes a min. Works great with cannabis along with sticky pads. It works by poisoning there food if bad may take a couple weeks but ya it works.

And so the battle continues… cool input everybody, this, this is how we all learn.
Because I sure learned a lot, thanks for sharing. I used to use something called Gnatrol I had good success with… But the DT is sounding like what I’ll go with along with sticky traps. Reason is, it kills more then just the Fungus Gnats… living in a swamp state, bugs are freaken erverywhere… ha

Sorry if I’m posting a lot of photos close together, but these plants are amazing and I love this MARS HYDRO TSW-2000 light I have from my Sponsor, MARS HYDRO… Tonight I put the filter in place, another item from my sponsor and it included a speed control switch and lined blackened out ducting… clamps etc…

Just look at PePe Le Blue here, I believe these are around day 10 of flower…

This Bubblegum is slowly recovering from the stress I caused and building buds… not sure they’ll have much size to them, we’ll see.

Cap Junky feminized after a little leaf tucking…

Trashberry will finish stronger then she looks here…

Lemon Tree pheno of Loran’s LBL… her mom was a tall lanky thang

These seeds from GMO are by H.A.T.T. Seeds and the growth is incredible…

I see what you were talking about brother! Those babies are vigorous and beautiful! The Bubblegum is putting on some weight and the LBL looks like a nice Jack’s Cleaner in structure. I hope it has that great lemon tree in it too! The UBC Chemo x M39 it looks very sturdy, and going to be some old-school knock out smoke right there bro!

I would also caution against using an “Engineered sand” to prevent insect travel. It works too good and can suffocate a pot.

Natural Sand is awesome for that task; separating the bedroom and the kitchen. Water right through.
Concrete sand, parging sand etc, just be careful !

Hey Missin, Everyone appreciates this info being shared… priceless.

Yup, this lemon tree is a monster plant and has almost reached the light…
The buds are almost yellow vs the contrast of the leaf material.

The Trashberry had to be bent over but did not slow her down in the least

The ladies are showing off now as it begins… muewhahaha

Bubblegum gets rotated out of big tent and into bathroom light for cloudy days
she has recovered well by adding nitrogen back into her foods until the yellowing went away… now producing nugs

Cap Junky is in the smaller tent and almost touching the light.

Okay I didn’t have my glasses on and at first glance I thought that was a piglet. :pig:

I posted this in my thread @Carty but I don’t think you saw it. I was looking for a pack of photo seeds a couple days ago and came across these! I would have sworn you had sent them but they weren’t in with my auto seeds. Gabagoooooooo!!

Being 15 years old not sure how well they’ll do but I’ll surely give them a try.
