Outdoor update! I’ll be honest, not exactly sure how far long she is in flower, but by the look of it we are nearing finish (2-3 weeks tops?). Haven’t fertilized for 2 weeks, this is pretty much whatever is in ocean forest + the fertilizer from farms in the rainfall she’s gotten.

Surprisingly not a whole lot of purple from the 5+ days in the 30s.

Welcome to Day 51 of flower!

Been a minute but wait till you see the swell of my girls. One of my least favorite plants, that for 5 months of veg always looked droopy or stressed, turned into my absolutely favorite out of them all, hands down.

The pure size of this plant, in only a 5 gallon pot, and the fact these colas keep getting bigger just has my jaw hitting the floor every single morning. Love you Mary Jane!

The smells… addicting, flavonoids dominant in citrus that variate from grapefruit to straight up grape jolly ranchers.

All 3 plants:

Mainline Grape Out-Indoor Refugee:

Manifold:

Outdoor:

Take it easy smokers & growers, pandemic, rain or shine, we on our grind :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face:

After checking out the grape-mainline this afternoon I decided to harvest her. Pistils were noticeably 85%-90% turning back and going orange, the trichomes were mostly cloudy with some amber and when squeezed were solid and dense.

Some sticky shit! Had to scrape the scissor hash off with a knife every few minutes or so.

Not to my surprise the mainline has some nanners, but for bagseed the purple and resin production in these plants, combined with their sativa dominance, makes me want to keep growing this strain.

Left 2 buds on the plant and sprayed them down with a diluted mix of Colloidal Silver in my first attempt at getting fem seeds.

…Until next harvest (outdoor-tomorrow?!)

Fantastic shots!

I see somebody else likes the vinyl tape for tie downs too. :sunglasses: :+1:
Great work!

Harvested Outdoor! She wasn’t very big to begin with, but still my takeaway from this outdoor experience is to light dep when growing anything remotely sativa dominant in this grow zone.

The mainline sativa looks to be getting close to harvest, but I’m going to give her another 1.5-2.5 weeks or so to see if she still has some swell left.

Colas|690x387

Manifold is definitely approaching harvest as well maybe 2-3 weeks, loving her resin production! ![Color correct!

Nice job on manifolding that sativa. :sunglasses: :+1:

Any special tips when manifolding a pure sativa? How well balanced are the colas?
Any feel on how much height reduction you got on the sativa (compared to just topping a couple times).

Honestly can’t take all the credit with that sativa, simply put I did the same training to the grape plant and it was half the size. Definitely genetics, mainlined both of them to 16 colas, topping and pruning starting at the 5th node or so.

The main reason she isn’t 7ft tall is thanks to these LED strips, the low amount of blue light mixed with the emerson determines their height. Never once did I even worry about height with 5+ months of veg in a 5ft tall 4x2 tent which with my old HID I’d have been sweating for sure. K.I.S.S is my advice, oh and get lucky with a stupid explosive sativa!

What a wild ride this pandelection year has been. Harvested both the Sativa Mainline and the Caked w/ frost manifold since my last post. Sativa (day 62) and Manifold (day 63). Both’s pistils were starting to change color and curl back and were very dense when squeezed.

Ended up getting roughly 2x 32oz jars from the Grape Out-in mainline plant, and 1 jar off the outdoor plant. Have been vaping the trim out of my pax and boy does it sneak up on you, immediately hitting you with a mild euphoria that slowly lulls me into a cerebral mind fuck that doesn’t completely halt your day…unless you keep ripping it.

Sativa Mainline Day 62 (harvest day):

Manifold Day 63 (Harvest):

Grape Out-In Mainline After 7ish day dry, this is at day 6 of cure:

Outdoor after similar dry time, and also day 6 of cure:

End result of the kief I got after all plants were harvested. I gently dragged the trim of each plant against the screen. Don’t usually co-sign a product unless its awesome and man cant recommend this thing enough, pays for itself.

Scissor hash (not all of it, but still, over a gram of the ish easily, most I’ve ever gotten!!)

Thank you dudes for having taken this ride with me. Been a blast getting back into this amazing hobby, and having people there with me the whole time was great :money_mouth_face: :blue_heart: :blue_heart:

Until next update…peace, stay safe!

Long time, no post, OG!! Since my last post I’ve taken on my first DWC hydro setup!

I built it out of a 20gal tote, reflective material for the top of it and two large airstones + air/water pump.

It’s currently exploding, already trained out to 16 colas in the span of 2 months now.

Strain is Grapefruit Cookies.

PH has been in a range from 5.5-6.5, but right now PH is 6.3 and PPM during changes every 7-8 days is 1100-1200ppm.

The rootball has exploded! It’s now head sized!!

After today’s pruning:

4x4 tent, but old pic from 4/13/21, need to grab new ones:

My 1x Jack Herer + 2x White Widows are now in 7gal pots now and a grapefruit cookies in a 5gal pot.

Thanks for stopping by, would like to get back to posting more updates!! Take care dudes :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face:

This is the 2nd time writing this post, the last taking over an hour

Just finished wiring up the AMD Wraith heatsink + 2nd Bridgelux 50w Full Spectrum (blurple) C.O.B.
That brings my flower tent to a total of 840 watts.

Hydro got a little light bleached/burnt because I didn’t research the 500w light my buddy gave me. No, 12-18" is not okay.

What is okay is 22-32" but I don’t think I’m going lower than 30" at 100% power.

Have been inspired by a suggestion to build a halo of strips around the 500w… checkout the diagram for yourself! :speak_no_evil: :innocent: :money_mouth_face: :100:

Thinking of using UV/Bud Booster + Regular strips w/ UV to accomplish it, whenever that will be!

I’ve been reading Marcus Aurelius’ 12 personal books aptly named ‘Meditations’ written to himself about stocism and his own thoughts/interpretations of all that he has learned up until the time of writing them.

The books were forgotten until the 10th century and so far this is one I’ll likely re-read hundreds of times.
This Cali Crusher was sitting on a glass store shelf at a local smoke store, it’s the Gold 2010 4pc mini homegrown that the shop store owner wanted $55 for and I talked him down to $35.

Turns out it goes for $65-70 online YOOOOOINNKKKKEDDD  :speak_no_evil: :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face:
Hope all you lads are doing okay and staying healthy, both physically and mentally. Stay safe and see you next time

“Blurple” isnt full spectrum according to all I’ve read, a “full spectrum” light is very bright and looks white apparently.:relaxed:

Oh you - if the house is not on fire, the breakers only being blown once in a while and you gotta unplug some stuff to manage; well then you’re just at the sweet spot! But yes I agree, temps have been sitting at 74-78 and it’s been in the 60s so I’ll likely have to just turn a dial or two down no big deal ;).

Don’t kill the messenger, that’s literally just what they sell and label them as. Blurple is what I call them, but it’s really just blue and red and my buddy had great results using COBs so trying to see if it’s repeatable more or less.

If you pick up a cheap IR temperature gun you can check the leaf temperature. Depending on the plant and watering conditions I find that my leaf temps. ranging from 74 to 78F in 82 F ambient.
Apparently this is typical for LED lights.
