Iām curious about the bud worms. What are they? I have problems with worms in my broccoli, kale and cabbage but Iāve never had worms in my herb in NY. Most of my grows have been indoor since the mid 90ās except for the last two years. Is this bus worm a new pest?
Where I am theyāre mostly the larva of this moth (the southern pink moth, pyrausta inornatalis). They dig into the flowers, bite the inner stem, and dig into the stem eating the stuff thatās got lots of sap, which kills everything further down the bud than the bite site.

Fair point, I accidentally learn a lot while Iām reading through other peopleās grow threads even if I have no intention of doing anything but looking at bud porn.

ā¦though I just realized the flip side. I also learned quite a few things reading through @JohnnyPotseedās thread, like his excellent worm casting germination technique. 
How many people will never learn it now?

Bots, huh. You are able to sign-up for co-ops, giveaways, auctions subject to whatever requirements there are in the OP just like everyone else. If you miss out on an opportunity, there will be more.
Thereās a bunch of posts in the private lounge. You do not have access to those either. If someone chooses to post into those areas, itās up to them. Similar to everyone else, youāll just need to earn access to those areas.
Keep in-mind that youāve been a community member for a total of 15 days. Lodging a bunch of complaints, ignoring guidance, and complaining about not getting āfreeā seeds is not convincing.

Ok, apparently Iām rubbing you the wrong way by mentioning it and Iāll stop. Sorry about that; Iām getting more than plenty of free seeds, people have been very generous and I have no complaints about the fact that people have to earn trust. I just thought the system could be improved in some aspects, my bad. I guess Iām not trusted enough to weigh in on that either, and thatās fine.

good vives to your eye site . yea you need the best grow room glasses money can buy limit time in grow grow i reckon will help also. can not buy new eyes as far as i know. unless you get doner eyes from a dead person.
Yes good idea, I have a medical exemption for tinted windows on my truck from my eye doc, I wear Rx Polaroids. I am using the Sunglasses from the Cataract Doctor now in the grow area. I have blue eyes, the most easily damaged so yeah I am all in, especially with these great new lenses implanted in my retinas giving me a whole new world to see again.

Iāll try to stay away from here sometimes. I do have something to announce. All my hard work has paid off. I got a ride. I have been offered a few jobs. Come January of next year I will be growing in a legal state. I will be growing seeds from the seed banks and from people that have donated to me. I know it does sound like a lot of bullshit right now but itās not. I was told today that my stuff does not smell but it is some of the best that they have ever had. Iām not trying to brag on myself but I have come here and other places and I have studied everything that I can to try to turn out a perfect product. Iām not there. I just wanted to say thanks for putting up with me it looks like itās paid off

I have blue eyes too lol. And need to get my eyes tested.
Is there any online info about this issue? I havenāt got any prescription lenses but mainly due to affordability and necessityās. Im not blind but I definitely donāt have 20/20 vision.
I defintily need to get in for a check up, I hope I never have those kind of eye issues. . . The grow lights have been bugging me for a Buit, I can start with some protective eye wear.
