Looking super fine!
There were some issues, but we’re turning the nutes down and coasting to the finish line. I’d say 2-3 more weeks. But it stinky up in that chamber, a mix of funky and fruity with a touch of garlic.
I’ve narrowed the smell down to a single description, a fresh package of play dough, like when you first open the lid.
I was out for a while and when I got back the nostalgia hit me n the face. It’s a mix of a few strains all contributing to this Funk.
2x Columbian GDP, 1x Catpiss, 2x Sweet Tea, 2x NoTeef, 1x Gelato and a Biker Kush
For the tent, where I’m experimenting with Solo cups start to finish
2x Sour D, 1x Rainbow Ylly, 2x Polar Bear, 2x Pankakez, 1x Brucifer, and 1x Afghaniberry all mixed up, not in any particular order. Just culled 2 more males, everything else is fasho females. Out of 25 seeds 9 plants in flower. That’s 36% not the best ratios shit all 4 Grendals turned out to be males, hopefully I just picked bad.
Got a nice little solo cup run that i just starter 2 days ago, have to share a pic of it in the A.M these pics give me reason going for 6 strains I think,
My question is how much variation in feed do you see the solos needing when you do multiple strain runs?
There will always be a slight variation in feeds. Always have a cup of ph’d water to dilute the feed.
Running multiple strains makes it difficult to dial in any particular strain. I like Indica leaning plants and the swing in hybrids is usually a quarter to a third dilution rate.
I need to get some of the trays like you have the cups just refuse to set straight and I know as the plant matter gets taller than the cup that will only get worse.
Strains.
3 spotted lime fem auto (fem repro by me, will be the first actual test run)
2 lemon fizz
2 cherry AK x SB from You (Thank you!)
2 Real Fire from Lupos CannaSeed
5 Candy cake’s from @NugLifeFarms420
2 Bubble monkey from @Kakalak
2 Lemon Glue, Big Bear Seeds
4 SFV Bx3 from @Sebring
1 3bears Og x FogDog Auto fem (made by me)
Christmas tree ornaments container, and the other white ones are for silverware. Also I tie them to the nursery wire X across the middle of my tent.
Test grow in a totally different environment from my usual acrid environment, heat and low humidity. Here it’s cold and humid… First time for everything applies to this run.
I have some interesting strains in this one, very excited to get back into it!
Edit for calendar references
Planted on 11-24 or 25th
Not bad considering a ruff start! Around 14 days young. Started feeding early on, now I’m up to half strength MaxiBloom, silica and cal-mag. Gonna keep it simple with this feed all the way to the finish, might add bloom booster tho.
Also looking like I’ll need to add more media
Forgot to post updates on my test drive in my temporary setup, so here’s a few pics of along the way
Everything harvested which gives me a total run time start (11-24) to finish (3-5) around 14 weeks and a half. Let’s say 15 weeks.
Absolutely gotta love it.! I am able to run thru over a hundred seeds a year. Lots of representations of what is hidden in my vault.
They definitely look like little palms! Nice stalks and trim work
The Chronicles continue! After around 6 months of missing my favorite pastime, I’m pulling myself out of .
I gotta learn this site all over again!
Now I have to saddle up and get some beans ta soakin
Well page or thread wutevs you wanna call it, I’m back!
Graduated to 20oz. Styrofoam cups 2 per plant (we’ll address it soon) after trial and error we can get 18 cups to flower comfortably. Still haven’t reached that goal yet because of the number of males continuing to climb.
I’ll get back to regular updates to explain this weird setup
While I was away, I managed to get about 3 test runs in our new spot.
The area that I have is very limited in space and something that I have to deal with. It’s a 3x3 period. No elbow room. The height is the best feature. But I’m not complaining, don’t get it twisted! A blessing to be able to still churn out some of the best some will never know of is kool by me.
