She got 3 more gallons of solution that got dumped in on top of about 1.5-2 gallons of old. Made it up like usual with an extra 6ml of the calcium hypochlorite solution for what was already in there.
Got a wild hair up my ass and decided to check the pH of the final mix and it was a bit high at 6.5. Threw in about 9ml of pH down and it’s back at 5.8. Wasn’t seeing any issues, just was curious how much it had risen.
Gonna try and do a full swap out on the next fill, but it’s a bitch at this stage. 3-4 weeks left on this one. Decent buds and frost for the stage it’s at. Pretty stinky too. Getting grapes and gas off of her.

Threw in another 3 gallons. Should have waited another day or two though. She’s filled to the top. Hopefully it doesn’t cause any issues, but I think she will be alright.

Ok… wtf happened? Just opened the box up to find this…
Don’t trust my POS pH pen, but it said 5.8 when I filled it and it says 6.6 now. She was perfectly fine 12 hours ago. Leaves are crisp, but also wilted where they haven’t crisped and it appears to be attacking bigger fans first. Gonna do a full reset tonight, but I have to wait another 7-8 hours to do it.
Edit: nutes were Jack’s at 3g-2g-1g with 15ml of the pool shock solution and I want to say a total of 15ml of pH down to get the mix down to 5.8.

Well, whatever happened, she’s got a full refresh. 3 gal of Jack’s at my standard mix. Think I screwed her up trying to ph the whole tub. Really hoping she turns back around for the last 2 weeks. See how the next couple days go.

Most of her is toast. One branch managed to survive in a small amount. Left that one on and took the rest of it down. Not a bad haul considering they had another 2 weeks left til I wanted to take her. She’s got a good stone to her though and not bad tasting. Just a shame it didn’t get to finish. Ton of kief coming off these buds.
I’ll probably update on what’s going on with the surviving branch and then shut this thread down. This was my last haul for this year.

So it’s been awhile since I’ve had a thread. Started back up January, but was having a hard time personally and that transferred to my plants. Haven’t had a successful grow since last year. Not sure what went wrong with most of them, but a few were down to cheap pH pens, and a few more were just non-starters. In total I lost 5 Fem Photos, several of which I only had one of, and 9 Fem Autos. One poor Fem Photo Blackberry Moonrocks survives, but has been slowly tortured with about 5 pH water for months.
Well today’s the day I got my shit together. Cleaned out my bins (algae is gross) after months of neglect. Gave the lonely Blackberry a fresh fill with 4mg of Megacrop per gallon, 2ml/gal calcium hypochlorite, and 1.5ml/gal pH down. Solution started at about 6.5 pH and looks to be about or slightly below 6 pH. Can’t get more specific than that as I’ve switched to pH drops for checking and I’m color deficient. I’ll have the wife confirm when she gets home.
Outside of that, I’ve started two new autos, a Double Grape and a Double Grape x White Crack. I got em mixed up so I’m not sure which is which but I think the one that’s above ground is the White Crack one and the other is the straight Double Grape. It cracked, but hasn’t come up yet. They’re both starting in an Aerogarden with Aerogarden brand plugs (I had some after market ones that the wife and I think took out a few of the unknown deaths).

If that plant is still going after all the abuse then I’d personally treat it like a god and grow it out properly. It looks totally fucked but obviously it wants to live. Hey if anything I doubt it will hermie on you no matter what you do to it. Give it some love

That’s what I decided. If I gotta nurse her up for the next 3 months while these Autos go, then that’s what I’m gonna do. Nowhere to put clones or I would clone her if I can save her. She’s earned it for all the shit I’ve put her through.
Same reason I keep the wife!

Actually, she would probably fix it better than I could. She’s got tomatoes and green peppers going in her aerogarden for over 6 months without even messing with the pH. Just started a load of lettuces, herbs and tea plants too. Shit she handles most of the trimming when it comes down too. I’d be fucked at harvest time without her and I only have like a QP to trim lol

So since you’ve f#cked it up then pass it onto your more capable wife to grow it out properly. 
I’m messing about. Although I don’t doubt your wife’s growing skills.
In all honesty I’d personally grow that plant out as it obviously wants to live.

She gets to as long as she will. I already debated it when I started the autos and was thinking about scrapping her and starting 3. Now I just hope she pulls through.

Well, I think my efforts were fruitless. Blackberry Moonrocks’ roots have gone dark and the leaves are curling.
As a result, I’ve started more seeds. We have the White Crack x Double Grape that has come up already. The Double Grape I popped at the same time cracked and showed a lil tail but just stalled out after that. Think my seeds might be getting a little old and being in a prohibition state with kids means I can’t really store them in the best manner. They’re dry in a cool dark space, but no fridge. Dropped the last 2 Double Grapes I had and a Sweetberry Cough from Garden of Green. Here’s to hoping for at least one good harvest this year.
